Is Trump really more popular than Obama?

I live in Brazil and just saw this on my Facebook''s timeline. It says Trump has an approval rating of 49%, while Obama had 46%, on February 2010. I don't know if that is really accurate. Did a search on Google and found the following source:

It really surprises me, since here in Brazil i just see negative things about Trump on mass news groups.

Where we're talking about is also a question. I don't think Trump would be more popular on the worldwide scale. I don't think he'd be more popular except maybe among specific demographics.

Apparently, these numbers were passed around if you were part of the campaign's email chain. The data is from Rasmussen polls, which tends to skew right on its poll numbers.

The financial collapse was a major component to Obama's low numbers at the time. Even still, most reputable places would put him ahead at this time in his presidency. ​

Trump has been the least popular president when comparing the same time line for his entire run of office aside from a couple days in his first year of office that were slightly higher than those same days in Bill Clinton's first year in office. Oh Ford too.
