Who on Earth is stupid enough to start smoking in 2019?I don't understand how smokers haven't all died off by now.
i see young kids (15 to 20) smoking all the time, i guess there's still a lot of people just starting the habit.Who on Earth is stupid enough to start smoking in 2019?I don't understand how smokers haven't all died off by now.
Not what I said or believe
I don't think it's quite like "any other disease" as it's got significant psychological and behavioral componentsIt's one of the things, but it also often takes medications, counselling, a support system and other factors that many people lack. It's like saying the cure to any other disease is just "willpower"....well yeah, it's important to have willpower, but often you need medical assistance to deal with illnesses such as addiction. So again...maybe rethink your judgemental attitude.
i've never been a smoker but honestly i don't have a big problem with smokers, it doesn't really bother me. what i HATE i the taste of a smoker's cum, it's just beyond gross.
not smum!!!!
A smoker kiss is the best thing I've tasted though. I do agree with the other assessment.i've never been a smoker but honestly i don't have a big problem with smokers, it doesn't really bother me. what i HATE i the taste of a smoker's cum, it's just beyond gross.
i have to agree, it's kinda hot.A smoker kiss is the best thing I've tasted though. I do agree with the other assessment.
Uh what? It's either smoke or Xanax. Choose one.
Or take down capitalism.

No, I've kissed a smoker before, it tastes like they took a shit in my mouth.
a buzz? lol.. there is no real buzz. Just our brain sighing in relief.
Not really. t increases the heart-rate. Your addicted brain is just nagging until it gets its fixIt's a good stress reliever, at least in the short term. The benefits don't outweigh the negatives but to say it does nothing I don't believe is true.
Yeah because it's addictive. It's not quite so simple. Nicotine has been shown in many studies to significantly boost cognitive performance. It's still a nasty habit and smoking is one of the worst routes to administer nicotine, but there's a reason it's stuck around for centuries.
eh it's more of a benefit
To be fair it is frustrating when people are constantly not at their desk for smoke breaks when you need to get shit done. I don't want my time wasted by someone wasting their time. You must really love your job OP. I rolled my eyes at "wasting paid hours."
They either don't care, don't know how bad it is, or don't have the will to quit. Not sure which but all are not great.
It's the number one preventable killer in america. People love to pull "what about alcohol" or such like it's the same and it ain't.
I hear you, I think my bad morning made me cop an attitude and that's my bad judging by the replies I'm getting. Not sure if I should edit it down or preserve it as is, but apologies.I think your choice of words here are poor. You make it sound simple or easy to quit. As an addict myself, its not. And alcohol is no pretty princess on your health either.

Omg it's so good, u missing out!Uh what?

They sit out there wasting paid hours and lowering the health profile of our company, jacking up everyone's insurance.
It's probably allowed just because one of the owners smokes. He sits out there smoking all day almost.
The woman at the next cubicle is in sales and comes back inside and wheezes on the phone. She tries laughing but it's more of an out of breath sound.
This other lady had surgery so she said she quit smoking for that to heal better. She failed. Saw her smoking the week she came back after surgery.
smokers get basically guaranteed breaks. solidarity with workers.
hey OP, health insurance companies are raking in record profits quarter after quarter, year after year, while smoking rates are going down, and you're blaming smokers for rising healthcare costs? get a fucking clue.
it's kind of like you're getting what you assume smokers like about smoking, without actually smoking. like a little taste of a lifestyle you're not interested in, with just one kiss.
Yeah because it's addictive.
There are FAR more interesting options.
Didn't know it boosts the cognitive performance so significantly though. Any studies?
