yeah, pops loved him. We would always watch james bond movies together. One of the few things we'd do together.
We named the dog ‘Indiana’.
Fun Fact, Connery was 31(!!) when recording the first Bond movie, and that iconic first Bond scene. He looks like 45 minimum. People really did live differently back then.Breaking now; RIP to this legend.

Though Connery was disliked by Bond author Ian Fleming, to many, he is the quintessential James Bond and will likely be forever, just as Christopher Reeve is for Superman. As a big fan of the Bond novels, I feel that he was a great fit for the role and captured a lot of the swagger and machismo of the character.
Any favourite movies of his ERA?
Cigarettes and alcohol will do that to you. Super unhealthy but I can't say it didn't help for the role.Fun Fact, Connery was 31(!!) when recording the first Bond movie, and that iconic first Bond scene. He looks like 45 minimum. People really did live differently back then.
In any case, rest in peace!
True. He looked cool as hell.Cigarettes and alcohol will do that to you. Super unhealthy but I can't say it didn't help for the role.
People are totally fine with misogyny around here if the guy is coolAmazed to see that Era aren't dragging Connery over his comments about violence towards women.
RIP to an acting icon.
Agree. Secret best bond movie. One of his best roles IMO, even if he was basically Michael Bay's version of Bond.

Lots of people referring to him as a legend. He may have been a "legend" as an actor, but not as a person. An iconic career, but not a great guy.One of those old timey actors that seemed to be a good person all the way through. RIP.
We don't talk about that movie lol
that’s not bond, that’s scaramanga
