Green Lantern into Blackest Night, c'mon DC you can pick yourselves back up.
How you going to ask them to pick up by making a Blackest Night film with none of the build up that would make that worth watching lol

Nah. I actually want to keep Gavin on that. Give him Lobo.

No blockbuster director would ever slum it up directing a CW show.James Gunn in the DCEU, and direct an occasional episode of Legends of Tomorrow. That show is more or less the TV version of Guardians.
Like the dozen or so execs and producers THR spoke with, this exec asked to remain anonymous because Gunn is not permitted to entertain other offers while his negotiation to exit Disney is ongoing.
"I've been advised that we can't bring anything to him until the Disney matter is 100 percent resolved," says another studio executive.
According to the source, the loss hasn't occurred yet
Esepcially in hollywood. Have a few hits under your belt and be a white dude and you be set. Hell Matthew Broderick killed two people and came back to have his best year ever
Yeah fired him for good PR, that backfired so spectacularly that now hiring Gunn would be great PR for another studio.Doubt they really care, they can get pretty much any director in the business that they want.

Yep, sounds about right
Plenty of people in the hundred other Gunn threads going on about how this was going to ruin his career.
There's no doubt in my mind that WB are eyeing him for Johns' Green Lantern Corps movie.
They must not have been paying attention to hollywood in generalPlenty of people in the hundred other Gunn threads going on about how this was going to ruin his career.
Lot of people want that Marvel Money and aren't concerned with "Brand Integrity" in the way Disney is. Considering James Gunn basically pulled a magic trick with an IP barely anyone knew about and made it into a cornerstone of the Marvel Franchise, I guess I shouldn't be surprised that everyone wants some of his magic too.
I'll be curious, since Marvel does seem to be finding their space between them and Disney. If Gunn likes working with Feige or even just the characters, I can see him sticking around.
Where did the fall happen?
be a fucking travesty if he was giving the reigns over Patty JenkinsHow crazy would it be if the guy Disney booted turned into the DCU's savior?

If he does join WB, which I think he won't, he absolutely will be given more power over Jenkins. The GotG movies made more than WWbe a fucking travesty if he was giving the reigns over Patty Jenkins
No but she should be given it before Gunn or anyone else
WW is the only DC film with nearly universal praise. It was kneecapped with an inadequate marketing campaign and budget. Remember they were already hyping Justice League before WW was out.If he does join WB, which I think he won't, he absolutely will be given more power over Jenkins. The GotG movies made more than WW
Hamada has control over the DCEU but there are no plans for a crossover any time soon so the need for a figure as involved as Fiege might not be as pressing.be a fucking travesty if he was giving the reigns over Patty Jenkins
He and Sean should start a production company called Business Gunns.
Crossovers are such a small part.Hamada has control over the DCEU but there are no plans for a crossover any time soon so the need for a figure as involved as Fiege might not be as pressing.
