What a year for Renner. It started well with Endgame.
Then he started his musical career.
Then he created his app that became a meme app.
Then he deleted it because "it has become everything I hate in this world".
And now this.


IF TRUE : I doubt that the Hawkeye show will be cancelled. They'll find a way to turn it into a Kate Bishop only show. Which is a shame because a Fraction's run adaptation sounded so dope. Unless they recast Hawkeye, but I doubt they would, especially since the Hawkeye's show was most likely going to be Hawkeye's final adventure before his retirement.

Now we wait and see.

After seeing the update from Renner's side, this is looking like a real "he said, she said."

Gonna wait for more info before I condemn anyone.

He also apparently stuck a gun in his mouth and threatened to kill himself too. If this is true, Renner has a real dark side and serious issues.

Mel Gibson had to go nuclear multiple times, on tape, to suffer any repercussions.

This isn't going to affect Renner's show or career at all.

Custody battles can be weird, intense, and mentally scarring. Everyone flings shit at the each other claiming they are unfit parents.

This one seems really bad.

After that update from Renners side I think I'm just gonna stand back and see how this shakes out because it seems like there's a lot to unpack here.

Life Pro Tip: When shit comes up in the context of custody or a divorce, avoid jumping to any conclusions because that shit gets ugly.

Unfortunately have firsthand experience with this.

I could tell that my parents hated each other, but neither one said a single negative thing about the other until 30+ years after the divorce.
My dad had unlimited, unsupervised visitation, with no attempts made to use us kids as a bargaining tool or weapon.

There have been some high-profile, low-drama divorces, too. Howard Stern's divorce from his first wife comes to mind.

Never take anything at face value in divorce / child custody cases. Both sides totally make crap up to try to screw over the other side as much as possible. I know someone who lost custody and had to have supervised visits because the ex lied about being violent while married without any proof. Even the court-ordered psychologist was wondering why the ex-husband was sent to him for anger/violence counseling because he showed absolutely 0 signs of it and was really well grounded without any mental health issues other than having gone through a messy divorce.

Gonna wait it out. I’m not saying it’s cool to say you want to kill someone, but Context matters. My wife says she’s gonna kill me almost everyday lol. Hopefully the child isn’t stuck between all this bullshit for long tho

That's very mature of your parents and you should feel blessed.

Other people aren't so lucky, myself included. I had to endure years of mine using me to attack the other.
