No that would be the 2016 "biopic" distributed by the WWE and starring an ahistorical white "friend" of Lee who falls in love with a chinese girl.
Good article. I pretty much agree with it on all points. I acknowledge Enter the Dragon's place in history, but its not a top tier martial arts film. Honestly, wouldn't even crack my own top 20.Article on how overrated the original Enter The Dragon was

See this is my biggest issue. I could understand if there was some star or up and comer that had it all and you wanted to build your remake around him. However I'm less confident if you first got the rights to the film and now your trying to find somebody to fill those shoes.Enter the Dragon is a pretty mediocre film from a filmmaking perspective, but it worked because Bruce Lee was made to be put in front of a camera. I'm not sure who is out there that has even a quarter of the on-screen charisma that Lee had, because you're just working with a ho-hum tournament plot otherwise.
There's always that pro Bruce Lee impersonator who already played him a few times.Who's more likely: Iko Uwais, Donnie Yen, Tiger Chen, or Lewis Tan?
Seeing how bad the wall did, I doubt dude is allowed in China
Was gonna say, half the people in here cheerleading this as automatically good, I look forward to being right here for your thoughts when the first name cast is the star, white guy x
Ooooh shiiiit
Who are you going to cast to replace Bruce Lee, Jim Kelly, and John Saxon?
I'd rather Evans stuck to his own movies. He's a diehard fan of all things martial arts, but he got big by doing his own thing, rather than tying himself down to an existing legacy.
Scarlet Johnasen, Emma Stone, Tom HanksWho are you going to cast to replace Bruce Lee, Jim Kelly, and John Saxon?
They aren't. They are going to make a separate movie that doesn't affect the original in any way, shape, or form.
