Joy-Con controller with d-pad, now up for pre-order.

I know there's been a few people wanting something like this, so I figure I should let the masses know.

The news come from Nintendo Everything (that's where I found out).

You can pre-order through Play-Asia. Made by HORI. It's 23.99$ and it doesn't have wireless, so it's purely for handheld mode. It seems like a stripped down joycon, but with the d-pad.

I'll want to know how the dpad itself actually feels and works.

I tried my 8bitdo SNES dpad with PacMan CE2 and I missed probably one in five turns I wanted to make in each maze. Dealbreaker.

Yep. I like to use my charging grip to play sometimes. This would have been great for that.
