What a dumbass.

RIP and it's sad that he died, but that could have EASILY been avoided.

Yeah he wasn't hiding them its 35 years for intent to distribute which by the gang members (NLMB) he had started being near included a pretty big gang who got someone else for the same reason.

As far as anyone knows Juice was snitched on prior to landing and after finding this out downed the percs to kill themselves, not to hide them. He knew exactly what he was doing. As he knew it was his jet and his weed and that much will get you locked up basically forever.

This is sad but it’s super dumb to bring guns in a plane cabin and to swallow a bunch of pills at once.

Well it looks like at min the pilot snitched on him. Which he should have if he or she saw guns on board.

If drug users weren't treated like felons this might have never happened.
Guns + huge amounts of product doesn’t match your ideal here.

Also it’s about time for a backlash against the glorification of narcotics in rap. It’s killing people. Amazing, talented people and is without doubt encouraging their fans.

That is the saddest thing because it's so foolish. The pills weren't going to get you into more trouble if you're carrying guns and 70 lbs of weed. Really shortsighted and it probably cost him his life. Damn.

Fuck sake man this hurts to read.

Juice's Goodbye and Good riddance album really helped me get through a rough time in life.

Really a stupid decision. But then, coming with drugs and guns in a plane is already not the mark of a genius, and his thinking might have been impaired by drugs or alcohol at the time.

If those percocets were not prescription, I wish he had just dissolved them in the sink or flushed them or something instead of swallowing them...

I mean how many could you even swallow, seems like an inefficient method to hide them. But I suppose int he fear of the moment one makes rash decisions.

Lol at rebutting “this wouldn’t happen if drug users weren’t treated as felons” with “with that much on em, they were looking to distribute”.

My nigga, and? Where do you think users get it from?

It was probably a fractional ownership thing like NetJets. The employees don’t work for the person they’re flying.

All the guns were registered and weed's illegality is arbitrary.
Guns have to be unloaded and locked away. Presumably the pilot wouldn’t know they existed unless that wasn’t the case.

Smfh this man lost his life because of 70 lbs of weed.. in a state where it is about to legal in 3 weeks... swallowed some pills all to avoid jail?
Such a dumb and reckless decision all around.

I’m not 100% sure 70lbs is legal even in states where weed is legal.
There are legal things that are still illegal to traffic. Trafficking cigarettes between countries is still a thing. Often you're giving money to not great people when you buy like this.

Ignoring the large amount of weed, bringing guns into the cabin of a plane without disclosing them or locking them away properly already put it at the level of a federal crime. It probably wasn't his private jet (either charter or he had fractional ownership) so of course any good pilot would immediately inform the authorities once they saw those onboard.

If it wasn't vacuum-sealed, I don't think I could even fit 70 pounds of weed in my apartment.

It's the amount plus firearms.

Also, don't bring guns into the cabin. That's asking for trouble. And if the pilot was unaware/part of it, he needed to call it in. I'd bet like others have said, he probably didn't own the jet outright - probably a rental. So if you're going to fly close to the sun like that, you at least better make sure everyone is good with it.

The crazy part is that without the guns they probably would have gotten away with it.

I wonder how long hes been doing this?
