He should be banned for soliciting sex? This is the NFL we are talking about.

If he was involved in sex trafficking, then YES !

Donald Sterling was banned from the NBA for racial comments. As a owner you are held to certain standards. I hope the NFL has some standards, they were so quick about honoring the flag, how about honoring human beings. That's sex trafficking we're talking about...

With sex trafficking there are kidnappers, pimps, sex slaves, and buyers.

Without the buyers, you have no sex trafficking. And what's worse than drugs is that people paying for the sex are abusing another human being.

With drugs, at least you're just abusing yourself.

This is why drugs and prostitution should completely legal. Take the criminals out of it and a lot of the nasty aspects of these illegal trades go away.

Absolutely, when I read the title that is what it sounded like and couldn't believe it. As it stands though

According to Palm Beach County state's attorney's office spokesman, the charges against Robert Kraft are "secondary misdemeanors." Arrest warrant expcted to be issued Monday. It's a "capius" warrant - a low level warrant for misdemeanors of this type. Won't be public record.penalty up to 60 days in jail per charge. Kraft doesn't have to appear in court if he choses. Could send attorney to rep him.

Why would a billionaire go to a sleazy fake massage parlor in a strip club?

Don't they have escorts for rich people? There is probably even an app for that.

What a fucking moron.

Also, what a horrible thing for those women. I hope they get some kind of compensation and anyone involved who had any knowledge of what was going on spends the rest of their life in jail.

I think the last few years have shown us being rich doesn't buy you brains

What I don't understand. The guy is a billionaire. He can have all the women he wants. He can get escorts or porn stars coming at his place in complete privacy. I really don't get it...

Yep this is going to end up buried and the Kraft family as well as the other Billionaires and politicians caught in the sting will frame it as "oh we just went to be with prostitutes (while of course doing nothing to decriminalize prostitution)" while their real aim, most likely, was to buy a fucking slave..

That's what makes this so unreal to me. Just mind baffling shit.

I think its because theres a difference between sex and a happy ending during a massage.

It's less about "I want the hottest woman in my bed tonight" and more "this massage feels good, I bet I can make it feel better"

Honestly he probably didn't think much of it.

For the record, the stories around Epstein are bubbling up again. This is from yesterday

Federal prosecutors, including U.S. Labor Secretary Alexander Acosta, broke federal law when signing a plea deal agreement with Jeffrey Epstein, a judge ruled Thursday.

Epstein, a former hedge fund manager, helped to operate an international sex ring in which he recruited underage girls in Florida and from overseas. He was convicted of soliciting an underage girl for prostitution and served only about a year in an arrangement of jail time and work release that began in 2008.

Acosta, the federal prosecutor overseeing the case at the time, met privately with Epstein's attorney in 2007 to cut the lenient deal, and the future Trump appointee agreed to keep the arrangement from Epstein's victims, according to a November report in the Miami Herald, despite federal law requiring such disclosure.

Not to sound extremely fucked up but we are talking about the NFL and America here. Here on ResetEra, we are a lot more progressive thinking than most. The football fans won't care about this. Patriots fans are still believing this was a simple rub and tug and don't want to acknowledge that these were sex slaves. And, he's a rich, old, white dude. Kraft will get the pass from a lot of football & Patriots fans, he'll go away for a couple months, and he'll reemerge by mid-season. It's fucked up but we've seen this shit before. And don't even get me started on the way people are going to shit on sex workers without any knowledge or details of this story.

Just the tip of the iceberg. I remember Corey Feldam talking about all the dark things in Hollywood.

Felger and Mazz weren't even fucking talking about it. They're talking about Kyrie and the Celtics. Because 98.5 WON'T LET THEM TALK ABOUT IT. How fucked up is that? Their station won't let them talk about it because THEY ARE PAID BY THE PATRIOTS. God. They literally are brushing it aside because their masters said "shut up" and this is the biggest sports talk program in the city.

You're right people won't care or worse will defend him but it's disturbing and yet another reason our society is just totally fucked.

I'm actually seeing a lot of Pats fans at each other's throats on social media over this news.

This isn't true.

They can talk about it all the want. The mid-day show was 100% about this story from the moment it broke.

98.5 said Felger & Mazz couldn't take calls from listeners about the topic -- not that they couldn't talk about it themselves.

Which I kind of understand because it's a bad look to have people calling in and saying, "Can't a man just have some fun?"

Edit:

WEEI had to stop taking calls about it. People were saying some disgusting things about these women.

Welp.

After all the stories around Donald Trump BEFORE he was elected, I agree. People will look the other way.

Yes this will be buried in some fashion. But there is always somebody paying the price for others. In this case it might be Robert Kraft.

Correction: felger and mazz are taking about the story and giving their thoughts. They just aren't taking calls because the station can't trust callers on the subject. Saying that Felger and Mazz of all people are holding back on kraft or the patriots is just kind of funny knowing them.

If the Epstein stuff comes up again that would be a bigger scandal than the Catholic Church sex slaves/pedophile stuff that happened considering the names involved include Hollywood stars, princes, presidents(including trump) and just a massive amount of rich and powerful people.

I can just imagine the fucking grossness being spewed. People shat on Goodell for DeflateGate. I can just imagine what the massholes are saying about the women who they believe are just out to destroy Kraft's legacy.
There's a reason the sports hub won't even take calls on it. Patriots fans don't have the maturity to handle such a topic.

Dude he can have a personal massage work around the clock at his mega mansion and escorts waiting in another room.

He did this for the thrill.

You're comparing Bill Cosby to Robert Kraft?!
The question was "why would someone, that has women ready and willing to drop trou, go out and rape someone?"

The answer is power and the only difference is the steps they take to commit rape.

So yes, I'm comparing Kraft to Cosby because they're both rapists.

Like I said, you do you. But remember denial ain't just a river in Egypt.
I'm not in denial of the situation. As long as Brady and Bill are there, the Pats are going to keep rolling as if nothing happened. If Kraft is forced out, the franchise is just going to get passed down to his son. This incident isn't going to tarnish anything. It's got nothing to do with the team.

The human trafficking stuff is gross.

In Florida this is a misdemeanor. Which basically means he may pay a small fine. I doubt any of the men caught here will go to jail. Unless the law says they get a higher punishment because they were trafficking victims.

And yet if these women weren't slaves, they'd (the women) likely go to prison.

Lovely system we have.

Yep, the big issue with the Epstein cast is that there are people in high places and with a lot of money that actively don't want any additional details to come out of investigations to take place. A lot of high profile people would be going down in flames with proper investigation into that.
