Score is 8/10, enjoyed it (not as much as the previous 6 superhero movies that came out this year though), but it's definitely not perfect
Some thoughts:
I audibly gasped when I saw that Green Lantern. My sister nudged me because she knew I was hyped
Steppenwolf was like a spoiled brat who got salty because the tenants kicked him out of his beach week house. "This is MY Mother Box!" It would be like an entitled millennial to think that everything's yours!
Mera had me like the Flash after he fell on Wonder Woman. What a babe
The CG on Superman's face was definitely not a good look
Seeing Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor almost took away my enjoyment of seeing Deathstroke. Almost.
Most of the jokes fall flat, as opposed to Ragnarok, where every joke from that movie at least elicited a chuckle out of me.
This movie has me very excited for Aquaman and Green Lantern Corps (if that's even a real thing at this point)

I don't get why people are saying it's a mess but I did notice the weird scene how Steppenwolf got the 3rd box. I just watch movies to be entertained and Justice League was fun.

I earlier said Superman here was great. I want to see more of that in the future movies.

The last scene of Cyborg changing to a more classic look for him should have been his default look.

Flash was great. I really like the scene when Superman's eyes was following him while he's running.

Aquaman was just alright for me. They could have at least shown Atlantis and not just one area where they kept the box.

Batman's costumes looked great. Those insect flying enemies was made for him to fight. He got a super armor for Superman in BvS but nothing for Steppenwolf.

Wonder woman was great but she still doesn't know how to fly.

I'm pretty sure he's stronger than her, but has the same speed as flash.

Actually she was able to cut Doomsday so she might've been able to cut Supes too. But carry an apartment building while flying? Probably not.

If all else failed in my hypothetical Supes v. WW fight, she could've learned from his Zod fight and try to snap his neck. Damn, now I wish this did happen.

I also have been hovering around an 80. I really hope we see an extended version of atleast 30mins but hopefully an hour, then that would be by what I mark it as.

I was fanboying when Cyborg got his traditional chestpiece. I wonder what happened with that prototype of the Flash upgrade outfit.
justice-league-cyborg-and-the-flash.jpg

Actually, didn't we see that Cyborg suit in the trailer too? There's got to be a Snyder cut of this movie too.
remember in the trailer when Cyborg is flying to the sky and puts on a mask just like that? Man out of all the movies past and present I NEED an extended directors cut of this. make it like 3 or 3.5hrs and ill gladly watch.

God I fucking loved it!!!!!

Best action in a comic movie yet. I just enjoyed it so much. It had some pacing problems here and there and the worst was the fucking moustache CG-- holy shit I hope they can fix that up for the Bluray release cuse god it was fucking terrible. Still, it was such a fun movie. Everyone enjoyed it, I saw it at Disney Springs and the audience clapped at the end and just really enjoyed it. I have no idea how it's getting terrible reviews. I loved it. I could easily see the Joss influence and the Snyder action.

By the way, Superman showed why he's the mofo tank of the JL. DUDE WAS FUCKING BEAST.

Cross posting from another thread:
Just got out of this movie.

Wow, what a mess. Unearned character motivation
why is Supes so important to bats when they hated each other for all but 10 minutes of the dude's life. O hai wanna fight? Oh yea ok. Let's just leave this world-ending doom box laying on the ground
MESSY CGI
there were maybe two scenes where Supes' mouth wasn't noticeably fucked, and he looked like a video game in every fight scene. Plus got damn I'm sick of fake ass CGI hellscapes. Steppenwolf never looked good or even close to decent. Cyborg was surprisingly alright, though
and just terrible pacing and editing. I felt the exposition dump like a hammer, and scenes didn't flow smoothly.

The final act was, predictably, a complete cluster fuck. The humor obviously injected by a Whedon was much needed and was almost the only thing keeping me from being upset I purchased a ticket. The theater gods smiled on me, though, because the projector went out for 5 minutes and everyone in the theater got a free ticket for another movie!

The Flash was the best part. Bats and cyborg were mostly bland, Aquaman didn't have much time to shine, and WW was WW. Hopefully each of these characters get a real chance to do their own thing in follow-up films, because as bad as the movies have been so far (outside of WW) the characters were fine.

The action was crap. It entirely lacked a sense of reality because of terrible CG enemies and locations. There were no interesting combinations of their powers, and it all felt by-the-numbers.

Final verdict: worth watching for free if you're a fan of the characters or a fan of watching bad cinema. 4.5/10, at least I got to eat popcorn.

At the end, maybe 3 people clapped for 2 seconds before stopping in what I assume was embarrassment.

I really liked which to me means I had fun, enjoyed myself almost the entire time, and had a smile on my face during the best parts.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions but comments like "Everybody can like what they want but the movie is objectively trash" going on are so off base. Again, I had a whole lot of fun , regardless of critics who have axes to grind or Aggregate scores. FUN.

My biggest problem with the movie is how empty the actual world feels.Like they're entering the ship that almost brought total destruction to the earth and there's barely any security. After what happened with BvS that place should've been guarded by some super military power or something. And that empty world continued with the final battle, empty random Russian land like seriously? It's very cheap way to avoid civilian killings and "there is too much destruction" bullshit.

I would rank the dceu as
Man of steel
Wonder Woman
Justice League
Batman V Superman
Suicide squad.

And regarding this movie: I was expecting this movie to be total dogshit, but it ultimately was a 6/10 score. I laughed my ass of when Superman started to look at Flash when he was beating everybody up.

This movie was allright. It was an entertaining one, if it had a bit of filler (like Aquamans dumb conversation with whatshername). I'd rewatch it.

The biggest flaw of the film is that it was 20-30min too short.
Sure the villain is boring, but it's not like we had stellar villain in other superhero movies so I let this pass.
Not all the jokes of Flash was good, almost every line he say is a joke, that's a bit too much.

Otherwise, I think it was great, a bit messy, but great, and I hope they wont reboot.

One thing I noticed, is how much they say that Batman gotten too old. To be fair, I kind of like Affleck, I just hope he will retire if he doesn't want to do the role anymore but still be part of the team, like he will train the next batman.

The dude kicking the fruit was the highlight of the everybody knows montage. Took all of my effort to not bust out laughing.

Take that, fruit-selling immigrants!

Blame the whiners. Neither The MCU or DCEU will really do the expected destruction as befits world ending disasters. We now get empty airports and abandoned islands. To explain why no one else is about. Even the villains seem to play by those rules.

My fave in this Parademons kindly waiting outside the house of the Russian family instead of you know breaking in and dragging them away.

Yo. When Supes bodied all of them, that whole shit, but especially when he side-eyed Flash. Best sequence in a superhero flick. Goddamn that shit was so dope.

Oh wow, thanks for that. Hopefully we get to see other footage (extended edition incoming too?). The third clip has a scene of Cyborg in the sky that was shown in trailers but not the film.

Yeah, totally loved that (pretty much all Superman was my highlight of the film though). Seeing his moving eye tracking Flash was awesome.

Did Whedon and Elfman really ignore all of Zimmer's themes?

I heard Wonder Woman's theme when she was blocking the bullets at the start at the bank or whatever that place was. It wasn't all amped up and exciting as in BvS or WW as it was a different instrument instead of the guitars or whatever it is that they use for the previous films, but her theme was played there.

Batman felt like some parody character throughout the movie. Even more useless in the final fight than Hawkeye in Avengers.

For me only Cyborg kinda came out unscathed out of this whole mess.

Okay, I'm gonna need the WB approved extended cut and an actual Director's cut of this film.

What a mess of a movie.
Just got out. It was mostly crap. Whedon's character interactions, though out of character compared to the grimdark snyderverse versions of these characters, were basically all that made this watchable. Luckily the projector went out in a power surge early in the movie so we all got free rain check tickets (Alamo da bess).
5/10, don't regret seeing it like I did with Skwad, not as dreadful as BvS. Action sucked way worse in this than in MoS or BvS, though, and the CG was pants.

Hmm i enjoyed it. A servicable superhero flick. I was missing some of that Snyder action set pieces though. I could also feel Whedons finger prints all over it to.

I was annoyed though. WW should not had held back. She coulda took Supes. And flash is WAY FASTER than supes.

Nah, man, she aint taking angry Supes. Also, Flash was beginner Flash so he wasn't peak nor expecting Supes to be fast at all.

Far from a bad movie as the internet made me think. A few unnecessary scenes and some bad cgi were the only negatives imo.

Me and my wife saw it this afternoon. She was disappointed in it, as was I.

It wasn't as good as Wonder Woman, but it was better than Batman v Superman. I actually think they fixed Superman in this one. He felt like Superman. As a non-fan of Superman, it was nice to see him be likable for the time he's in the film. I was surprised. Death did him a lot of favors personality wise, I guess.

To be honest, Justice League is like Thor 2: The Dark World; watchable, but ultimately forgettable. (And I invoke Thor 2 unironically; I didn't hate that one, but thought it was mediocre and forgettable).

As a huge fan of DC Comics, I should have been grinning from ear to ear seeing these heroes on screen for the first time, but I really didn't feel much of anything other than thinking this movie was missed opportunity. It had a lot of potential, and there were scenes that felt like they were going in a strong direction, then it falls short.

Some of the humor was good, most of it didn't land. The DC heroes deserve better than this.

I'm very curious about the 45 minutes or so they cut. I wonder if we'll get an extended version. There were parts of the movie where it felt like I missed something, but it was more than likely some connective tissue that was cut for time.

It wasn't a bad movie, but it wasn't very good either.

There were a few scenes I really enjoyed. The first ending credits scene was a fun wink and nod to the comics, and the moment where the Flash is trying to get the drop on Clark after he's revived, and Clark's eye turns to watch him. That shit was creepy and awesome. Superman felt like a force to be reckoned with during that scene. I hate how OP he is, but this scene did a good job of showing how, exactly, he is OP.

Saw it a few hours ago and it was... not terrible. Would have been a tad better received if it had been released before Wonder Woman, but now it's all the more obvious that this was just a flailing, desperate attempt to graft an MCU-esque tone onto the last gasp of Snyder's vision for the franchise.

Saw it today. It was good. It had problems that everybody pointed out already but it didn't bother me. I liked it.

Felt like the combination of Age of Ultron and The Dark World for the vast majority of the movie (dear God that villain was terrible). Enjoyed Supes here the most out of the movies (the suit!) and Flash was solid.

Overall, I was engaged but not nearly riveted by the end. People were genuinely clapping at my theater (basically every "hype" point past Superman entering the final fight), so it seemed to be received better by most.

Batman was getting bodied left and right in this movie. Supes was actually one of the few saving graces despite the horrendous CGI.

Overall maybe like a 5.5 or 6/10. It wasn't painful like BvS but I don't want to see it again.
