Hello all! Long time no see!

I finally got a chance to visit K-On school, 2.5 hours one way by train, and there are nothing else in the area lol. Still worth it just to see how much effort they put into recreating the school in the anime.

OK I was confused because pictures of her were coming up when looking for images of a Precure character also named Yui but I wasn't sure if they had the same last name.

(They don't)

Isn't the college manga like really bad?

I've never read it since the library never had it but I've heard both it and the one where it's just Azusa still in high school with new friends weren't that good.
I actually dont know, ive heard that it was short which makes it bad to adapt into animation but thats as far as i knew about it.

The college manga and Azusa High (K-On! High) were both just 1 volume each, but overall in my opinion they were still very enjoyable yet and still had that K-On! feel to them. I gave both a 9/10 and I gave the regular K-On! manga the same rating 9/10. Naturally though I enjoyed the anime way more as that's where the K-On! magic really is as the girls really came to life there and where the connections and everything else took place.

As I said though they were both just 1 volume each and I would have to look through them again to see how much material there really is.

I think K-On! ended well enough and it doesn't really need to do anymore. I rather just enjoy all the memories I have of it and for giving us a great anime with an even better group of girls especially Azusa. Don't get me wrong it be cool to see a little something from K-On! again, but i'm pretty content on everything and how it ended and just cherishing the memories of it.

I mean this is just my opinion, but as they say different strokes for different folks.

It's been a while since I last rewatched the anime..... I may have to do that again.

However I am reading the new K-On! Shuffle spin off and so far i'm not really sure how to feel about it. I've read every chapter that's been released so far, but i'm kind of neutral on it and i'm not into these new girls that much at the moment. The girl that was on the cover kind of annoys me so that's not good.
Basically Kakifly is just recycling the original story, but with new girls who are in middle school around the same time our Keion girls are in high school. The main girl saw one of there concerts and wanted to start a band at there school. So yeah some tweaks here and there, but I suppose that's why it's called shuffle. I'll keep reading it, but i'm not into it as much as the original, but will see as it looks like things might start to pick up a little more as all the members just got there instruments at the end of chapter 5 which is the newest chapter.

There is a slight nod towards the original story as there's a little line at the very bottom of the page at the end of chapter 4 that reads "The story would be different if she knew the company presidents daughter or someone like that".

I seriously thought Mugi was going to just randomly show up and be like "Hello you want that guitar sure thing i'll take care of it for you" while they were at the music store, but no such luck. Yeah these new girls went to the same music store to get there instruments and of course one girl can't afford the guitar she wants and is upset about it, but eventually it gets solved as her friend had been saving a ton of money and she bought it for her. So everyone has there instruments so will see how things go from here now. Also these new girls don't have much music experience.

Kakifly probably burnt himself out trying to do two mangas at once. If you combine both College and Highschool manga there is about the same amount of material to go on as there were for the other seasons of K-ON! actually (2 volumes of about the same length).
