Just saw BoA's fancam in her korean concert today. It makes me sse Mannish Chocolate in different way.

Surprisingly she performed several her japanese songs despite her concert being in korea. The great thing is people even do fanchant for her japanese songs as if they are korean songs. Mannish chocolate and Lookbook have great fanchant

I am amazed when people chanted "Cmon follow me now!!"

Welp. Snagged all of Black Pink's stuff from iTunes. There's 10 tracks between everything. Now I gotta figure out how to organize them as an "album" so I can listen to 'em in one playlist. Thinking to start it off with "Boombayah" but not sure where to go from there.

Edit: Could just follow the track listing on the Japanese version. Forgot that was a thing.

On the whole, I feel like it's been a pretty disappointing year for girl group releases. There have been plenty of songs that were perfectly fine but very, very few that truly grabbed me. It's only the tracks listed above that I really wanted to put on repeat.

Ah, don't know if this will be good for BP. Somehow 2NE1 managed to go all those years without a dating scandal. A pairing like this is too juicy for Dispatch to ignore. The trick to get them to ignore you is probably by just dating a normal person.

Cool. Explains why some idols never get caught and then come out years later talking about relationships. Like CL was talking about a bad break-up and I was like, "Oh, she hid that well."

Honestly, if I were a popular idol I'd stay away from other celebrities. Too much drama. Watch, they're going to break up soon. How many times have we've seen these announcements only for a break-up one to come a few days later?

I'm thinking about that AOA member (the popular one) and Zico.

If LGBTQ+ they don't outright don't say anything. Same if one of the parties involved is a civilian.

If both are some kind of celebrities (don't have to be idol x idol, but idol x model, actors...) then Dispatch communicates first the news to the agencies and asks for a payment to keep it secret (at least as far as I know). If there is no payment, Dispatch discloses whatever they have to the world.

YGE and SME both knew about this. I hope the retaliation against Jennie isn't too much. Although it seems that in general people care way less about idols dating now than before. Also, the fact that a Running Man relationship was unveiled days ago will help them. I didn't expect the reaction to be "stop disclosing private life". I'm glad.

Sounds like she might be in the clear, apparently YG basically said " Ditto" to SM's statement. Blackpink is about to start an international tour anyway so she can't be sent into hiding.

That's what I've always read. I'm not sure if the agencies consider it blackmailing, but more of a "deal". The agencies aren't dumb and know this will be getting out. They can also use *some news* to cover *other news, that are worse*.

It's sad because this is like a tradition now, every 1st of Jan. Dispatch releases something.

My twitter list is surprisingly calm-ish about the dating news so far. Just worried about Jennie's backlash obviously. Hopefully this doesn't effect her the next few months since they're holding concerts starting in a few weeks time.

Yeah looking at the aftermath of the news I'd say this went pretty smoothly. Both fandoms seem fine with it which is a relief, don't need that stupid drama. Of course who knows what's really happening in YG's office...

Still holding out hope for 2019 to be THE big year for Blackpink, so reading this this morning on January 1st got a nervous laugh out of me.

I wouldn't be surprised to see nastiness from the EXO fanbase (on social media at least) towards her. You only have to look at the situations with Taeyeon + Krystal to see how well they deal with their oppas dating.
