There's a chance that Loona will get nominated today and might get their 1st win on Mcountdown. I'm honestly nervous af. Just 2 and half hours till the show starts.
just watched what's up (edit: on youtube) so far of Nizi project, and while some of the kids so far seem engaging, JYP himself does not come off well at all. like, i came in expecting him to be a bit self absorbed (most celebs are to some extent, and his company is literally named after himself), but somehow show structure and editing have done him no favors at all. and the one girl he made weight comments to? big oof. she was ok, and while sure, her dancing wasn't the crispest, putting that on weight is pretty crap. he should have left it at "you looked like you haven't practiced for this much." i really hope she's okay and can blow his comments off. i will probs keep watching 'cause youtube hosting is real, but so far, the center man is dumpster material.
I set an alarm for 5 am just so I could be up watching the show, fingers crossed.

I'm not sure what they've won and against whom, but I'm certain it was deserved.
Basically the different music shows have a competition going for people who are currently promoting. This one in particular compares like their last week physical sales, digital sales, music video views+mcountdown stage views, voting they do, and how much their song is being used by broadcast stuff.
This is the first time LOONA got a win on any of these music shows so it's a big thing for them.
Thanks for the expalanation! I'm a big fan of their music but I gotta admit I don't follow the k-pop scene per se, I kinda just listen to the music. Happy to see them getting successes and big numbers, should bode well for future.
No problem. Loona is the only group I follow like this, others I just listen to their music.

For this song specifically? Not really, no.
But they hella deserved it for Butterfly, so this is the universe finally bringing order to chaos, cheers to them!
It's like when the academy gives an award to a director or actor that should have gotten it already. Butterfly is their rmasterpiece, and they are giving recognition, albeit very late.
Finally got that win! I'm happy for them, just kinda bummed it happened while Haseul is down and out :(

As said before, it's a retroactive prize. Loona is amazing and deserve rewards.
I've ended up quite liking So What, though I still prefer Butterfly, and Hi High.
Got these in today now that they're doing reprints, still need to get the other four though but those are later.

I'm really appreciating it and taking advantage. I only got in to loona with the YYXY era and back then I didn't know I wanted to buy anything.
There's too many members in Loona for Queendom. They'd have to pick a sub-unit to send, not that I'm against that.
