After killing the boss in second phase, the node to the 3rd phase / final boss is still hidden.
- You need to S rank node H and I using CTF. This one is easy.
By doing the task above, the boss node is revealed. However, the best route is still hidden, which is M -> X and X -> Z3.
- You need to get AS during LBAS defense, get AS at node K and get S rank in T node using STF. This one is a bit confusing.
By doing task above, you could go to boss node through 1 sub node, 1 normal node and 1 air defense node using STF for chipping HP gauge (and farming rare ship).
- Once you're at LD, A rank the boss node once with both CTF and STF fleet. Then you'll hear the ring once you're back in port and the debuff applied.
Once debuff applied, S rank the boss node is basically a lock.

You're doing normal or hard? There's difference of 50 armor between normal and hard for the boss, and all other escort has more armor as well, but a bit lower difference.

I tried sending 3 LBAS to the boss but I keep getting killed by the subs... and when I do get to the boss, usually nothing happens. lol
Did you do the subcheese thinge and/or use node/boss support?
I did try using sub once or twice, but it's too expensive. At least need a damegami for the sub. So I abandon that plan. I did use boss support tho.
For the subs, yeah just pray that it'll let you pass. This phase alone did sunk my 100k fuel tho to pass, so I believe it'll take some tries even in normal. Just pray for the boss snipe.
Finally made it to phase 3... yuck.
I was looking at your phase 3 fleet and saw that you only have 2DD (unless I'm missing something)? Does the requirement change in last dance?
How much RNG is the last boss? I haven't been able to get a clean kill...
Congrats on passing Phase 2. You're basically done at this point lol. P3 is easier than P2.
Just need 2 DD for U-V-T-R-Q-M-X-Z3-Z2 route. The restriction is in another part like:
- 6 Historical ships
- Max 2 BB
- Max 2 CVL
- No CV(B)
X -> Z3 is fulfilled with 2DD + 1CL + no CV. For medium, I think you could bring another CVL, which I dunno worth it or not.
Done... it still felt like forever even though it wasn't "too bad" compared to phase 2.
Farming for the two new DDs seems like torture... don't know where to do it.

I'm lucky in that department as I got both of them during clearing run. CL would be harder to obtain compared to the DD. E5 P3 STF would be nice place to farm CL as the preboss node aren't that bad and only need A rank.

What's easier to farm for the other ship? E2 or E3?
I'd say E2 for cheaper fleet. (Single fleet vs. combined fleet)

The extension saved me and let me get the event drops. lol

I got one Fukae from E5 node L.
She dropped there on lower difficulty as well. Might want to try there, quite easy to reach that node with STF (Need one AO in the fleet).
I saw that, but I non-boss node drops always scare me. lol (it also drops on M, on the way to the P3 boss, but I rarely got drops there).
I guess it's on the way to W... but do you need the oiler if you use STF? Or is CTF better?
STF is cheaper yes. I suggested CTF as in hard mode, T and P node are dangerous as well. Maybe on normal they are quite manageable once you put some LBAS there.
From my multiple runs, L node, I got like 36% no drop and M node, 54% no drop. L also got Teste and Riche (I got my dupe Teste there)
Hrm. How is the morale if you just go to L and retreat? Really don't need more drops since I'm full again (stupid dupe BBs I don't need but can't scrap...)
3 nodes sortie shouldn't drain morale too fast and only need day battle to S rank. Probably could do 5 sorties before morale become orange.
I only gained like 40k fuels in a week. Gotta be some time before getting it to hard cap again after spending like 200k of it last event. I haven't cleared any EO yet this month and Saury event is coming. Might need like 2 months to get it back to 280k ish fuel.

Got hit by the surprise DMM maintenance but somehow I still got Fukae with like one day to go... can't believe I got a complete Kandex again. lol

I used Orel to do all weeklies because subs are cheap and the rewards give a net positive. There isn't really a cheap way to do the weeklies anymore as far as I know.
Also I have like twice the ammo as fuel again because of all the repairs. lol

I wonder if there is gonna another fall event. Since this event was original the summer event which got delayed.
edit: Overall I manage to get a alot of new ships, including alot of the event only ships. I think I am missing only 13 ships now.
edit: RIP I did 58 sorties just today to get Kashima.. I didnt get her. RNG is cruel sometimes.

there's a difference between active illustrator with inactive ones. ugume is still active. akemi already cut ties for years
Can't just some other illustrator do the CG for those inactive one. Poor girls never got anything because of that.
there's more problem with that. like for example will the player base accept the obvious art change due to changing illustrator?
I don't really have a problem about that tbh.
For the fans, maybe they won't like the different illustrator, but on the bright side, their favorite girls got a new CG or even a Kai Ni, which should be welcomed.
As long as it's not Shibafu tho. That probably will lead to mass exodus.
I'm slowly collecting fish now. I'm at 23 fishes I think.
6-5 and 3-5 were the maps that gave like 2/3 of the fish I have right now. 1-1 and 1-5 dropping fish are rare for me.
I'll farm world 3 to finish up the 30 saury quest.

Fishes seem to avoid me now. Can't get past 23. Where did you farm yours?
Mostly 3-1 and 3-3 doing weeklies (both the CV one and the World 3 one). I got some in World 1-1 and 1-4 but not that much...

Hmm... 1-1 and 1-5 didn't give me much as well. 3-3 gave 0 fishes so far and consume quite a number of buckets. Might try 3-1.
Yeah, I'm following that guide. Ends up getting most fishes from 3-5 and 6-5 doing EOs. Spoiler alert, 1-5 I node is not 100%. Been there with 0 fish.
I guess I'll go with 3-1 and 1-6 next.

I don't know if it helps but I've been using Ooyodo and Russian DD for their four slots to carry more farming gear for 3-3.
