Very rarely do you catch me out
Ya'll done "specially invited guest"'d me out
Y'all been tellin' jokes that's gon' stress me out
Soon as I walk in, I'm like, "Let's be out"
I was, off the chain, I was often drained
I was off the meds, I was called insane
What a awesome thing, engulfed in shame
I want all the rain, I want all the pain
I want all the smoke, I want all the blame

MBDTF level bars tbh.

It's kind of a shame Cudi montage and Fire are together on the poll because Cudi Montage is waaaaay better than fire.

This is the first Kanye project in forever that isn't chock full of cornballs. Like even Yeezus had "300 bitches, where the Trojans". Granted he's only got like five verses on the thing but they're all solid.

There are bars on Ye where he clearly didn't have time to finish writing and just grunts. It sounds exactly like the leaked TLOP demos. It's apparent on Ghost Town and that was originally KSG track. Hopefully next season he takes all the time he needs to polish up his album(s) before release.

The sarcophagus line is classic but "I like breakfast in bed, but I love breakfast and head" is just filler.

I HAD MY ISSUES, AIN'T THAT MUCH I COULD DO
BUT, PEACE IS SOMETHIN' THAT STARTS WITH ME, WITH ME
AT TIMES, WONDER MY PURPOSE
EASY THEN TO FEEL WORTHLESS

BUT, PEACE IS SOMETHIN' THAT STARTS WITH ME (WITH ME, WITH ME)
HAD SO MUCH ON MY MIND, I DIDN'T KNOW WHERE TO GO
I'VE COME A LONG WAY FROM THEM HAUNTIN' ME
HAD ME FEELIN' OH SO LOW

I'M SO-I'M SO REBORN, I'M MOVIN' FORWARD
KEEP MOVIN' FORWARD, KEEP MOVIN' FORWARD
AIN'T NO STRESS ON ME LORD, I'M MOVIN' FORWARD
KEEP MOVIN' FORWARD, KEEP MOVIN' FORWARD

The corny Ye lines are a part of the enjoyment these days. "I love your titties because it shows I can focus on two things at once" kills me every time. Then the sound effects on the first track, phew.

"Too many Urkels on your team, that's why your wins low" will forever be one of my favorite lines of all time.

Cudi should stop singing and just give us more of those magnificent MMMMMMMMM's

Swapped out Free for Ghost Town and the album is way better.

Blown away over how fuckin good this album is. Cudi montage is my favourite track so far, sounds like a Radiohead song. Loved ye, this is better than that, not sure it tops Daytona. One things for sure I'm back on the Kanye hype train after falling off since yeezus.

This is probably Kanyes second best project as far as I'm concerned. Yeezus being my favourite

Gettin' loose while I'm on the deuce, see me roll out
What you surf, hit the coast, and this feelin', I got
Plenty of adventures for the evenin', we go journey, we off
From the light to guide us home, we in the moment, oh-oh
Such a lost boy, caught up in the darkest I had
What's the cost, boy? Losin' everything that I had
She been on me, boy, unless you got somethin' to tell
Sittin', waitin' for me slippin', yeah, I'll see you in hell
Tell the cougar get up off me, no, my soul ain't for sale
All the evils in the world, they keepin' on me for real
I really hope the Lord won't hurt me, we all live in sin
Kids see ghost off the ropes, Ric Flair on your bitch
Now this the theme song, this the theme song
The put the beams on, get your, get your dream on
But you don't hear me though, drama: we let it go
Watch the guitars roll and let your friends know

how does that work btw. can kanye just produce for any artist under his label and get royalties or do they have to pay him upfront/hourly as well?

Yeezus is my favorite album of his and any album period, with my favorite song ever being Black Skinhead. It's the craziest, most egotistical album period, but it's just fantastic.

You know what. The last hiphop album that felt this thorough was ATCQ's 'We Got It from Here... Thank You 4 Your Service'. The lyricism here isn't on the same level but I'm struggling to think of another major release as consistent at these two.

Damn. Damn's easily as consistent as this album and We Got It from Here.

We Got It from Here feels really underrated, I fuckin' loved that album.
