2016: Turbo Grafx 16 & Cruel Winter
Shortly before the release of The Life of Pablo. Kanye West had announced another album scheduled to release for the summer of 2016, "Turbo Grafx 16." Alongside that announcement, Kanye said he had begun working on Cruel Winter a follow up to the G.O.O.D. collaboration album, Cruel Summer.
Kanye would continue work on the album, but after the day 4 tweet and a few Instagram posts from key producers and collaborators the status of the album became unknown.
Kanye then toured for The Life of Pablo, but after a rant in San Jose stating he "would have voted for Trump" and the negative response from the crowd he abruptly ended his show and canceled all tour dates scheduled after that.
Following the cancellation of his tour dates Kanye self admitted himself into the UCLA Health Center for a mental breakdown he had suffered. One week later Kanye was released from the UCLA Health Center, he resumed work on his next album.
2016 would end with no release of either Turbo Grafx 16 & Cruel Winter.
Things were IFFY to say the least...
2017: Wyoming Chronicles
2017 would serve more as a year for Kanye to focus on himself and get back to the basics of what he loved doing.
USAToday actually did a pretty good job summing up most of 2016 & 2017 for the rapper. But I'll still run through the main points of what he was up to and how it relates to this upcoming album.
In May of 2017 Kanye stepped away from social media including Twitter, where he had initially announced Turbo Grafx 16. Also in May of 2017 TMZ reported that Kanye was in Wyoming producing beats again.
One of Kanye's close friends and collaborators 2-Chainz confirmed this in July of 2017 and stated that "[Kanye's] actually producing again." "Like him — not just giving out directions, which he started doing for a while."
Kanye was also rumored to be collaborting with Migos, although this may have been for some production credits that were later found on Culture II.
We wouldn't hear much more about what Kanye produced in this time period in Wyoming; all we knew is that he was recording it on a mountain. He would also return to this same state in 2018 to finish up his 8th solo album leaving many to wonder why he was so fond of the state...

2018: Making This Thread Was A Choice
Well if you're in this thread you probably already know what went down in 2018. But to keep it short Kanye returned to Twitter, announced 5 albums where he was the main producer, and then went on one of the worst stream of conscious Twitter rants of all time.
Fuck Kanye.
Hypebeast does an excellent job of running down everyone who went to Wyoming in 2018, and pretty much chronicles every artist you can expect to have some type of influence on the album.
Kanye announced the album as Love Everyone.
But there is no confirmation that will be the final title.
Regardless he delivered on his promise and the Pusha album "Daytona" has already been released to a lot of critical acclaim. Mostly in part to the production which Kanye is responsible for.
