Without me these threads would literally be filled with the same copy paste posts about how disappointing Kanyes recent music (nonsense, KSG and Daytona) has been and that they won't be listening to this album (aka i never liked him and glad he fucked up)

I'm here to bat these bad faith trolls away. You're welcome Era.

You when Kanye calls out George Bush or decries homophobia: "These are his genuinely held beliefs"

You when Kanye wears a MAGA hat, effusively praises Trump: "It's just marketing"

Take several seats, you've embarrassed yourself enough itt

These threads are never serious. Bunch of poorly thought out """"""criticisms"""""" that fall apart under the tiniest bit of scrutiny.

Posters then proceed to get really rustled because they just got embarrassed by the "we forgive you king" guy. See: shnurgleton

I see people expressing subjective opinions while you stamp your foot, give yours and then proclaim some sort of victory, but sure, that works I guess.

Do you disagree that his criticism of Bush and his calling out homophobia were genuinely held beliefs?

Do you think he actually, sincerely thought those things? Or nah?

Ya'll are taking the bait so easily. That of all the reaction gifs in the world he's using one of Jose Mourinho , one of the biggest shitheel cunt pot-stirrers of all time , should be a dead give away. Also, Ghost Town was basically a 070 Shake song anyway, Ye was easily his worst work by far, entirely forgotten

Of course i'm going to be irritated if you're only interest is having some sort of gotcha moment against me. You failed to quote me on any of that and now you're running away with your tail between your legs. I'm sure you meant to quote that other poster itt but you're too proud to admit it since you came itt with an agenda

This literally happens all the time in every Kanye thread. Of course i'm going to get annoyed.

Bollocks. You clearly haven't heard anything from 070 Shake. Her tiny discography is some basic soundcloud "trap" PND lite music. She is the star of the song but no way she's putting something of that quality without Kanyes direction.

As long as 80 Degrees makes it on Yandhi he can change whatever he wants. I just want an official release of that track.

Yeah same here, song sounded amazing. Still got the snippet in rotation

Wrong. Plenty of people have expressed legit opinions that I haven't called out.

I called out the posters with poorly thought out opinions. Am I really gonna sit here and let that guy get away with saying Kanye only featured on Daytona and didn't produce the whole damn thing?

Or that somehow he's fallen off because he heard the meh solo and not the critically acclaimed, universally loved effort, KSG?

I called out bad faith trolls or posters that were ignorant on things, simple.

Shit I even agreed with the poster saying TLOP lacked cohesion or that Ye was underwhelming. You guys are tripping yourselves up in an effort to come at me with some "gotchya" moments. Stop it, know your shit before you post your half baked "criticisms" and I won't "stamp my foot".

Kanye could record the sound of himself beating his meat and throw some eq and distortion on it and his fans would still love it. "Ye really put his life into the album".

Considering you insult everyone who has legit criticisms and they haven't really fallen apart under scrutiny, you sure seem to be ever increasingly delusional, dude.

stick to discussing the music. Page 7 was doing so well smh.

People were discussing music. You just keep insulting them if they have any slight critique of Kanye and his music. Coming off as super trolly, tbh.

Honestly, I could see people defending that still.

This forum loves arguing impact vs intent

Now what exactly was the impact of Kanyes tweets?

fuck all

I'd like to give black americans a lil bit more credit. They aren't going to vote for Trump because of Kanye wests twitter rants and choice of headwear

Especially given he was hot off of a very public mental health breakdown, marrying a Kardashian and a half dozen insane radio interviews during Yeezus Era... His public perception was already damaged....(Before you attempt equate his tweets to his television appearance calling out Bush during a national crises)
"We don't even have to forgive you, king."

Where is the lie.

1. Where did I insult someone? Because I told CoolestSpot to "get a sense of humour guy"? Clearly tongue in cheek, i'm not gonna go hard and insult someone for not liking those two silly songs.

Quote me if I did.

2. Whenever someone has legit criticisms I have either agreed or posted my opinion on their thoughts.
Quote these "insults" please. I may have been harsh on that guy for not knowing that Ye produced Daytona or not even bothering to listen to KSG. Other than that, I don't know what you're talking about

3. The lie is pretty obvious dude. I never once brought up Kanyes intentions in regards to the George Bush incident.

Quote me if I did

Evil bump. I thought Kanye announced the album's release date or a single or something. Instead it's more ERA shitflinging.

edit: Also what's the point of these Sunday Services? Any footage of it that gets posted online gets taken down.

Wow this thread is a trash fire

I have a history of liking Kanye and feel he's been off his game since after Yeezus. There are some moments in TLOP and Ye but it's really scattered and the albums don't cohere. Man is talented as all hell and you can hear it in bits in pieces even in actual garbage toss off tracks like Lift Yourself but I feel like he has been losing himself for a long time. Hopefully whatever he comes out with next regains some of the consistency and thematic power his previous stuff had
KSG > TLOP and Ye too.

Y'all act like Kanye only released Ye last year instead of all 5 Wyoming projects.

There's no way you can convince me you found I Love It to be genuinely funny

Funny is a stretch. I smiled, closed tab and never intentionally listened to it again. It was whatever

Lift Yourself tho? It got even funnier when we found it Kanye was not only trolling the general public but also Drake since the beat was meant to be saved for him

God forbid we defend the person this thread is about from politics when it was supposed to be only about Yandhi. Maybe if this site had mods we wouldn't have to.
Lol the mods are not going to help you defend this MAGA-loving prick

Stick to defending his music if you gotta stan him, at least that much is undeniable

I wonder if that had anything to do with the #1 rapper calling out the president for racism on the world stage as the entire earth watched a year earlier.. hmmm.. nah he said something nice about trump so I forgot all of the good he's done is nothing now!

And you say I'm hyperbolic.

Kanye's call out was in 2005. Obama was elected in 2008. 2008 minus 2005 is three, not one.

Also you think Grammys are meaningful.

Agree with your last two posts, jumping in thread now. Life of Pablo is where I went "woah, I'm off this train". He's mad talented but reached his greatest heights already it seems. Life of Pablo is mad interesting if you listen to it as a man losing his mind though, especially with the album cover.
TLOP was Graduation 2. Ye is Kanye losing his mind. KSG is finding freedom.

You all have to realize he's locked into a lifelong contract with EMI he is currently suing them over, not exactly the best motivator. Still, most artists in this point of their career (8th album) can't make an album as good as Ye. To me, Ye is 8/10, all it really needed was a slapper to bring it home, but he scrapped the entire album a week beforehand to save the best tracks for Yandhi.

Which other rapper can toss together an album as good as Ye in 5 days?

all of kanye's 2018 material was ass besides i love it
The man in your avatar got his start on Nickelodeon, was planning on ignoring the kid he had with a pornstar forever, used bullets to end a dispute over a song drake stole so he could rap it on the sonic 06 soundtrack, and won't stay out of the stranger things girl's DMs. What a great guy. Total idol. Oh yeah, but the maga hat is worse, right?
