Kara no Shojo is on Steam now.

I only heard this name-dropped a few times over the last few years but apparently it's considered an all-time great visual novel.

Warning: From what I've read it does appear to be an eroge, but it looks like one of those ones where that's not the whole point of the game. I don't know, maybe this is the kind of stuff that might justify Valve allowing uncensored VNs on Steam?

Never thought I'd see the day Mangagamer would get Kara no Shojo on Steam. For those that never played it, it's a fantastic VN but definitely not for those with a weak stomach as it gets incredibly graphic. I assume this is fully uncensored too going by the content description.

Also yes, it has eroge elements if that bothers people. It's and excellent, twisted story though and is worth the playing.

It's a mystery novel if I recall, one of Innocent Grey's most famous. Very gorey and very rapey if I recall.

It's been awhile but from what I remember I would say it is. Also as mentioned above, it does have rape in it so if that bothers you then I'd stay away from it.

Great game, and amazing story.

If blood and gore and sexual intercourse are turn offs for you though stay far away.

It's been quite a long time (6+ years) so this may be off. Spoilered for content

There is a scene where the true-criminal mutilates an individual who finishing an act of sexual intercourse not long before. He doesn't rape her per say but it is very graphic.

Good thing that these games aren't held off of Steam for arbitrary reasons anymore. Hopefully the other platform holders will soon follow suit.
