This game is amazing, any more games like this on Switch or PS4?

Great game so far. The pixel art is amazing…
And guys, if you like Katana Zero take a look at Deadbolt (by the makers of Risk of Rain). Pretty similar concept.
Yeah it really is dark, but I liked that. I wasn't really pissed off at the ending. It was more like "wtf aw man!" type of thing lol.I just finished it
The ending seems more complete than people have been saying. The "twist" at the end just leaves a sour taste in your mouth because now you have more questions. I see what they were trying to do, but it just left me confused at the end. If they ever make a second game, they have a shit ton of loose ends to tie up. Good luck with that.
Great game though fwiw. I feel depressed though lol. This game is kinda dark.
It definitely is.Gameplay Spoilers(?)
Sword of Masters (heh) is easily the best sword. Prove me wrong.
Sounds spot on since there is DLC coming "in a few months" that, iirc, will expand on the story more.Finished it yesterday including getting the extra stuff. Like many of you I really am dissapointed by the abrupt ending and a tease of what should have been the final level. Kind of makes me wonder if this game should have come out a few months later so that we could have got a better ending.

I don't think it's under the radar it is #2 on eshop for sometime now. This was a hell of a game. Shame its going under the radar. Had it been a little more complete... I wouldn't hesitate to call it GOTY thus far.

Really hope there's a sequel though.
Ah ya no clue how it's doing on pc but it seems popular on switchOh, didn't play it on Switch. I was just talking about not seeing much chatter about the game. If the game does solid numbers that's good.
Yup there is! The dev studio tweeted about how successful the game has been so far and it's getting free DLC.I think there is free DLC coming, so who knows? I havn't quite beat it yet so I don't know what everyone is talking about.
I really don't think the ending is as bad as people think it is. Definitely leaves things a little open for DLC, which is hinted at -very obviously- when you finish the game.Judging the impressions from this thread sounds like I'll pick this up in a few more months and wait until the game is more "finished" with it's story instead of diving in now.
If I had to make a comparison, I'd say it feels like an ending to TV series' season 1.I really don't think the ending is as bad as people think it is. Definitely leaves things a little open for DLC, which is hinted at -very obviously- when you finish the game.
Finished the game, absolutely loved it and am eager for more.
I've read through this thread to see what I missed, and am still unsure about a few things:
Who is the secret boss? Unsure if I got this on my first playthrough or not. Also curious about accessing the keys and unlockable swords. Have the government lab, or whatever, but no keys to access any of the doors.
I don't suppose there are any updates on this games Australian release yet?
Really enjoying this but i'm worried i'm getting through it too quickly.
Once the day countdown reaches zero is that basically the last part of the game?
The most embarrassing thing for me was not realising that you can hit enemies bullets back at them whilst you've slowed down time, until 20 minutes towards the end.
Sigh.
It's also very much possible to deflect them in real time as wellThe most embarrassing thing for me was not realising that you can hit enemies bullets back at them whilst you've slowed down time, until 20 minutes towards the end.

Did exactly the same. I noticed the "X" prompt pop up multiple times in my playthrough, but I was never clear on what it did.I just realized holding X (on Switch) let's you slowly "stealth" walk after beating the game and replaying for hidden stuff.
This actually accurate it sort of is like it leaves you wanting to know the rest of the story i am still reeling from it and glad i took the risk to purchase itIf I had to make a comparison, I'd say it feels like an ending to TV series' season 1.
