Having rewatched Batman and Returns recently, I kinda think this is a better use for Keaton than his actual movies were. His Bruce is kind of a psychotic dick.

I don't think he is gonna Batmanning much, but either way, dude is still fit and stuntpeople.
We almost had a Fincher / Eastwood one at some point. Would have been the definitive Superhero movie.
Given the Keaton thing has been in the works for years before NWH released, no?
As we all know, NWH was the first piece of media to ever bring back old characters/actors to play on people's childhood nostalgia. Movies didn't exist before the MCU.
Yes, they made this multimillion dollar decision happen on reaction of a week old film.
Really bold choice for Batgirl, can't say I ever imagined him in the role but I'm always down for new takes on a character.

Probably not. If they carve off even a piece of that hype they'd be pretty happy though.
like the flash, batgirl probably can't really stand on their own and needs batman in the film to make people interested.

Maybe I'm too slow, but am I correct in assuming you guys are trolling with these Keaton in a Batgirl role comments, yes? I mean, he's in the movie but surely he's actually playing the Batgirl role right?
The original Keaton leak had it setting up mentoring a Batgirl Beyond.
Which honestly would be a good idea to distance it from what Pattinson's Batman is doing but it seems like they just want to streamline it to a more typical Batgirl.
Are we really gonna act like WB made this decision based on NWH... lol? Come on man, we've known that he's gonna be in The Flash which means this was already planned way before NWH lmao.
