I could list why KH3 missed the mark but that would be truly a waste of time when discussing with diehard fans.

I mean, after Kingdom Hearts II's dial-back on vertical level design in favour of arenas, I welcome KHIII's level design to be at least closer to the original intent of KH1.
While that is hyperbolic, it is definitely lacking in compartments such as the post game or difficulty department.
Disappointment isn't a stretch, but I'm holding out for a 3 Final Mix
KH offers enough to laugh at it without ever playing it. If you like it, it's cool. But don't act like one cannot judge its silliness without playing it.
My one sentence summary of KH3:
Did enjoy the game, but the plot was a mess.

Besides it being extremely easy on Proud, I enjoyed it quite a bit
Yeah it was fun. Has alot of fun tools to play around with but outside of lvl 1 runs you aren't really gonna have a whole lot of opportunities to explore them due to the game generally being pretty easy and not a whole lot of post game bosses.
It's very fun at least, albeit too easy and you can do too much, magic is too strong.
Pointing out the ridiculousness of it all doesn't necessarily mean I hate the series where I've played all entries. Like I'd point and laugh too reading that wiki page.
i've never seen people defend a story about children's cartoon characters fighting with key weapons so much.
Same for me. They made a fantastic work promoting it though, I really thought the game was going to be great until I played the full game myself.
This post reminds me of that thread where OP called out anyone that called KH's lore difficult to understand 'disingenuous'.

I watched countless explanation videos and am currently playing KH3, I'm probably mid-way through it and watched the 'The Story so Far' videos and while I understand part of it, it is a very difficult story to follow imo and no, I'm not being obtuse or disingenuous. It truly is a mess.

Lack of German Goofy the Genius was more apparent. KH3 just kept on reinforcing them meme that he is more in the know than possible.

We just got to Monstropolis. How many hours of this shit do we have to endure before we're allowed to make fun of it?
No I did not. Not at all. Combined with the nonsensical story made me sell the game 11 hrs in.
Granted I only ever played KH2 and 358/2 days (and finished neither) but aside from the Disney stuff KH3 was not fun at all.
