I've tried magic and shot locks before and just found that I couldn't make them work. I'm absolutely shocked that they can be useful in that fight, especially ice rail! I never ever considered that a viable option for dodging.

We haven't seen most of the opening yet and KH2's opening had Sora in his KH1 outfit for pretty much all of the opening if I remember correctly.

Yellow eyes are a symbol of Xehanort.
Xehanort didn't even always have Yellow eyes.
Maybe his eyes got yellow when he obtained too much darkness. Like it happens in Star Wars.
I mean I don't know his exact quotes but I assume he is talking about "norted" guys having yellow eye.
