I know the game will be interesting, at the very least. So I trust Kojima, but I'm definitely going to watch.
Worst part is, the internet will make fucking sure I'll see every spoilery screenshot one way or another.

I only saw that very first trailer. I still don't know what genre this is or what gameplay features this game has. I don't know if it has online or an open world.
I intentionally skipped all further trailers so I can go in and just be surprised by everything.

This tweet doesn't even remotely sound as conniving and condescending as the thread title makes it seem. He literally said he'd prefer people to go in blind, but made a gameplay trailer for people who are curious to know more about how Death Stranding works.

I loved Metal Gear Solid but if you can look at how recent games have been and trust Kojima 100% more power to you.
After the blunders with Ground Zero and Phantom Pain Kojima has a lot to prove to me.

That's true. Good catch, both of you. The sensationalism is certainly misleading. I was busy hopping off a bus earlier when I posted in this thread and neglected the golden rule: always read the source material. As such, I developed a skewed mindset. That's on me, but still.
I have "faith" it'll end up being a good game, but I don't "trust" Kojima, so watching it I'll be.
I'll let you guys watch it first and then I'll see if it's worth it. We are very close to release date and I'm already sold into playing a AAAA walking/USPS sim and im not even joking or shitposting, I really like the ideas shown so far. Jury's still out on the story though.
This is probably their last pre-launch chance to make me interested in this game, of course I'll watch.
Trust but verify. I'll be doing everything I can to avoid spoilers but I haven't pre-ordered or anything. Once I get enough confirmation from independent evaluation that there are characters and a story worth my time, and gameplay that doesn't get old an hour in, then I'll go dark. I'm not there yet. I'll be reading impressions first and if I'm still on the fence I'll watch just enough to close the gap.

It's pretty normal for threads to be made on almost every Kojima tweet and have an inaccurate thread title. Not sure if it's a meme I missed? It's stupid though because it just builds more and more resentment towards the game.

No way I am watching it, Im super hyped and already have a good idea of what the game is (at least I think so, lol). Im watching all the trailers though, just this extended gameplay that I am skipping.

I am watching of course. What I have seen so far does not inspire confidence or desire to play the game. There is a lot of footage we will be shown. I hope it changes my mind.
