Out of absolutely nowhere, KORG updated Gadget for Switch to Version 2.0 and added an Internet Multiplay option to the title screen. Choosing it gives you the option to create a room, select a room, or just spectate someone else's room.
There's a slight amount of lag to the controls when using this mode and there was nobody else online since the update just came out, but... yeah, it's an online-enabled music making application now. Who's down to make some funky beats over the interwebs?
(And before anyone asks, sadly no, there's still no dedicated export feature outside of taking 30 second clips with the Switch's video feature, or creating a QR code of your song to transfer it to KORG Gadget for iOS.)
