Randy has always been a douche but I can't judge him on hearsay. We need more than that

This lawyer is a massive piece of shit regardless.
It's either
A. He's making this shit up
B. He isn't making this up but decided to keep it to himself for years until it benefitted him.
Either way fuck that guy I hope he doesn't get shit

Yea, that's basically how I feel. If it was a victim coming forward it would be one thing, but like you said this guy is either lying because he knows the impact it will cause, or he willingly enabled all this to go down and kept it in his back pocket until he could exploit it.

So fuck him either way.

Also legally dangerous for him if he isn't talking about the porn part.
I was guessing someone would quote me and say it's legally difficult to be more precise. However, he tossed his statement out, so I think it has to be a little more clear.

Should probably contact Jason at Kotaku.

If it true then he would be in just as much trouble for keeping it under wraps for all these years. It blows my mind how stupid people are
Morally, fuck yes, legally, not necessarily if there are power dynamics/"fearing" for your own employment/well-being at stake. Randy is the CEO, so top of the power dynamic hierarchy.

Everybody ruining lives and accusing everyone of stuff. Sometimes its true and well deserved but sometimes it's all bull and really sad.
I agree 100% that everyone should be innocent until proven guilty and nobody should jump to conclusions, I just hope the appropriate authorities would be investigating claims of such a serious nature.

This is absolutely wild.

I can’t take either side at face value and will wait to see what emerges during the discovery proceedings.

.....fucking wild. I really hope that the USB drive thing is meritless for the sake of the children/adolescents/minors.

That lawyer is just pushing all the buttons in panic mode. Got caught and called out, is probably at least partially guilty with all the money shit gearbox has been dealing with and decided to just go torch mode.

And look at that. At least with some of ya'll it worked like a charm.

For the sake of there not being one more piece of human trash in the world i hope it's not true. And i hope they drink that fuckin lawyers milkshake.

Also depends which state it's in. In general, as I understand it, there's no legal obligation to report a crime. But there are exceptions, and some of those pertain to child abuse.

There is now a secondary source, right above your post.
