Obviously a legal cam girl isn't as grave as cp but I'm amazed some people here have read the quotes where pitchford talks about being fascinated with the "magic trick" behind a cam girl's squirt to the point where he saved it to a USB drive to scrutinize it and still go "eh whatever, he's just an idiot for putting porn on a USB drive"

They say that podcast episode went live the day after the lawsuit was filed? When was it recorded? The timing makes it seems like he went out of his way to go on a podcast, talk about his porn USB drive and stress that it was "barely legal" porn before the lawsuit was made public.

I mean he's stupid enough to leave an unprotected usb full of company secrets and porn at a restaurant. Also he said this after the lawsuit was filed.
If those allegations end up true then Randy really is as sleazy as he has made himself out to be. I have already avoided GB in its entirety due to the mistreatment of the Alien franchise, this just seals it.

Holy shit, the fact that Randy Pitchford actually went on a podcast and admitted some of the stuff he was alleged to have done happened is just... WOW.
That said, from what I think I understand of legal matters (no real expertise), I think the lawyer talked about the porn stuff in a way that he's able to say that he was "told it was/might have been child porn" and not get hit with slander/libel charges.

There are goddamn layers to that section of the story. Even if the allegations end up false, there is so much to this.

Don't get me wrong if it's revealed theirs also CP on that USB drive then we have a whole different story. And I actually think saving porn of any kind of kinda weird as it's become so disposable/easy to watch online over the years but saving it on a portable usb stick and taking it into work is creepy to me. I've already said in my previous post how an ex-boss asked me to put files on a hard drive that was on his desk when he was out of the office. I decided to snoop (my bad) and opened a folder labels movies, inside was a bunch of movies like Arrivial and Fight club. Mixed in were a few porn videos going from the thumbnails and file names. I still had to work with that guy and make eye contact with him for months before I left - super creepy to have that knowledge... must be a weird atmosphere in the Gearbox offices for sure.
Gonna bring a radical viewpoint here and say being a pedo is many times over a worse thing than being someone admitting to not understanding an aspect of female sexuality.
