They're a strange studio with highs and lows, Borderlands was one of the biggest new IP's last gen and the BL2 was by any measurement an excellent sequel. The franchice has made them a fuck-ton of money with strong sales long after release. You can put whatever you want in the body of a lawsuit, and there's no way to prove any of this, so Pitchford will win in the court of law, but he's already lost in the court of public opinion. Either Callender is knowingly exaggerating details of a true story, or he's correct, and people are more inclined to believe the latter as long as a man who has repeatedly demonstrably lied in the past continues to offer suspicious defenses that would still be creepy if they were true.
