Finding it incredulous and disgusting that a grown ass man and CEO went on an entirely unrelated magician podcast and enthusiastically detailed in utmost vulgarity a pornographic cam girl video in order to explain why he downloaded it onto a USB thumb drive along with company documents and then proceeded to lose said thumb drive is not "kink shaming." Seriously what the hell is wrong with some of y'all? Do you even think about the words you type? The defensiveness some of y'all are displaying here makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Take a moment and reflect on the drivel y'all are spouting before you post it.
While I'm not familiar with the podcast so I don't know the style of it, looking it up I found out that the second host is a former adult entertainment artist. So I would assume the podcast hosts didn't take a big issue with it. Or could be that Randy should save these stories to something like Howard Stern show. I do think that Randy should keep his work and porn separated though and especially keep much better care about private company information. But the podcast appearance hardly is a problem, losing the USB-drive with confidental information especially from other companies is.

I hope no hard-hitting reporters with a thirsty blood lust for exposing the deepest and darkest of secrets end up discovering my penchant for legally-aged Asian women and Velma Dinkley rule 34 art when I'm rich and famous, or wow wow wow will I be in big trouble.
To be fair, Velma Dinkley is a teenager in the series, sooooo

This whole digression for the past few pages is bizarre. It's okay to be woke and also realize that certain things are a bit surprising and unusual when put in a certain context. Going on a public podcast and discussing your sexual preferences in great detail and getting it mixed up with your workplace is a pretty wild thing, and it's totally okay to recognize that while at the same time believing that what Randy does to get his jollies is his own business (assuming it is not hurting anyone).

That said, I don't agree it is "disgusting." Just completely surprising and atypical. (Again, not his preferences. Just the whole situation.)

On Monday, Ars obtained the formal October 27, 2018, filing made by former Gearbox general counsel Wade Callender. Its existence suggests that Gearbox's November lawsuit could be retaliation for his claim with the Texas Workforce Commission's Civil Rights Division. It alleges that Gearbox (and CEO Randy Pitchford in particular) engaged in "harassment, discipline, inequitable terms and conditions, and discharge" due to an employee being Christian.

Mr. Pitchford would state that my religious beliefs were retarded and indicative of a broken brain. Mr. Pitchford would often visit my office with gifts ridiculing Christianity.

I reported the harassing and hostile work environment that was created by Mr. Pitchford to the Human Relations Department, but no disciplinary or corrective actions were taken. After reporting the harassment to the HR department, it appears that Mr. Pitchford's harassment became more severe.

What the actual fuck.

Also, if he reported this to HR, there's likely a paper trail. Unless the guy is completely off his rocker, there's probably a fire where all this smoke is coming from.

Thank you.

This thread suddenly got so damn embarrassing, I swear. The outraged grandstanding about "kink-shaming" was some of the cringiest things I've read on this forum, and I've seen some shit.
If an employee did what Pitchford has admitted doing, they'd be disciplined or even sacked. It's highly inappropriate behavior, regardless of whether it's legal.

Sorry but are there any updates on this?
It feels like the whole thing disappeared entirely, but there were serious and nasty stuff involved.
