You feel every degree above 100. I can't imagine anything above 110. That seems like some shit from another world.
This absolutely. Growing up in an almost as hot place it starts to become mind melting past 114.

Nobody cares about absolute zero; Celsius is centered around the freezing and boiling points of water. It freezes at zero and boils at 100. So yes, 50 is "halfway"That is not how temperature works. Absolute zero in Celsius is -273.15. 52.2ºC would be 87.19% of the way to boiling from there.
For anyone wondering, this is 125.96 Farenheit. Halfway to boiling. No thanks!
Isn't Texas a bit humid too?It was 109 degrees yesterday in Texas
Can't imagine something worse than that 😂
You kid, but me personally, 110 in Vegas with low humidity is a walk in the park compared to 90 degrees in Chicago with 90% plus humidity.
It hits 50 where I live during summers. We have 4 small split ACs and a large one. We use 3 phase electricity (like every other house). Can AC units even keep up with this?!? I would have to move, HAVE TOO. I can barely handle the heat here.

I know how temperature works, I'm a physicist. I meant from freezing. That is not how temperature works. Absolute zero in Celsius is -273.15. 52.2ºC would be 87.19% of the way to boiling from there.
I'm also from Quebec and we had around 30C this weekend. Thing is, it's not even summer yet.
