Same
2 years ago here in Australia I got a reading of 50 degrees. That day was fucked up.
Makes me think of a news story I saw recently that parts of the Middle East and SE Asia could be uninhabitable in a few decades.
People actually say that? Here in Ohio, many folks tap out around 27 lol.https://news.kuwaittimes.net/website/kuwait-records-worlds-highest-temperature/
Oh it gets better
This was Saturday, and sure enough, the temperature reached 51°C today, proof from my friend's car
I'm tired of assholes saying, "Kuwaiti are lazy and they never leave their house" I have a headache from walking for 10 minutes in the sun today, It's just not realistic to be out during this time of the year.
And, as in this instance, it won't always be true.Unfortunately, "...recorded the highest temperature on record!" is probably something we'll be hearing year on year from here on out.
Never mind the world, this is actually not even a record for Kuwait. A temperature of 54 degrees was measured in 2016 (and the same in 2013 in Death Valley).
The world record is currently 56.7 degrees in Death Valley.
Wow that's... awful. How do you even get around it? If you live deep enough in the ground, will it be cooler?
Those were, unsurprisingly, fake as all hell. Didn't really matter though as the bribes were already paid.Aren't they doing floating ACs or something. I remember seeing some designs for how they were suppose to cool the stadium and it looked like some jetson shit
That's what a lot of retired people do for winter, well in RV's not houses though. Since our temperatures are mild where I live, we get "Snowbirds" from Canada who spend the winter down here.If I was rich I would have 2 houses, one in the northern and one in the southern hemisphere. That way I can move the southern hemisphere from May-August and never have to experience summer.
