Why you like them: Do you like point-and-click adventure games? Some slight goth and noir in your life? Then watch Pushing Up Roses! I like hearing her unique perspective on things--and no, I don't mean because she's a woman. Because she enjoyed certain things as a child and teen, and certain things good and bad affected her tastes and opinions. She enjoys some goth and macabre, but also plenty of upbeat and cheerful things. Her biggest love is point-and-click adventure games, as well as old school PC games. She will occasionally venture outside PC-gaming or games not of the point-and-click or story/mystery based nature, but Sierra-like content is her bread and butter.

One of my recent favorite videos of hers was a retrospective on Clue the board game. Her video dived into the history of the board game, the various video game adaptations, and the movie itself. Highly recommend.

These aren't the channels only focus though and her videos cover Dark Souls, Fallout 3, Undertale, Life Is Strange, WoW and FFXIV. She also has a project of dramatic readings done by herself of Lovecraft's stories.

Why you like them: I really enjoy Materwelonz for how much her mindset leads her to approach games differently. Rather than being laser focused on gameplay and completion, she loves to reflect on story, worldbuilding, characters and their actions and development and how certain events make her feel leading her to wear her thoughts and feelings on her sleeve very often with how pretty much everything in her playlist is played nearly or completely blind.

Why you like them: A very frank and hilarious content creator without many subscribers at this moment. Biggest recommendation is her current playthrough of Your Turn To Die, a Danganronpa-esque death game VN where Camirisu shows off both insight , investment and fun-loving demeanor in equal measure.
