It fills me with the rage of Achilles to see gamers getting indignant about the name.

Haven't even properly started Origins yet lol.

Thank god the games are thrown in the budget bin quite soon after release. AC is my go to budget franchise guilty pleasure.

So that 110% confirms the leak from forever ago then. 3rd game in this "trilogy" will be ancient Rome.

I absolutely cannot wait for that. Greece should be amazing though too. Once Origins gets cheaper I'm going to have to rebuy and play through discovery mode. I'm excited just to learn about the history and Roman Greece should be good.

I am pleased that Bayek will probably get his own trilogy of games. He was a fantastic character in Origins, and I'm looking forward to seeing where they take him next.

Origins became so boring so fast jeez. The RPG bs elements they added i didn't like one bit. Can't say I'm looking forward to this to be honest.

Odyssey is kind of a lame name since it takes place in Roman Greece centuries after the actual Odyssey, but I'm probably in the 1% of people who actually cares.

More interested in the rumored Rome installment, but Athens and the like could be cool.

People in this thread apparently not knowing what the Odyssey is and where it came from and thinking this would be FREAKING ROME makes me question reality.

Do some people here not know what the Odyssey is and that it doesn't have anything to do with Mario?

I'm guessing this will be heavily reusing AC Origin's tech if it is indeed coming Holiday 2018.

If it's in any way related to Bayek then it's very likely going to be set in early Imperial Rome. If this is legit I can't wait to play it. I've been waiting for an AC expansion into the Roman Empire since ACII.

I'm in! I'm always in, I heartily enjoyed the AC Origins changes. Can't wait to see how they adapt Ancient Greece to the franchise - it's going to be beautiful!

Origins was great. Looking forward to it but I hope they take their time. Same animations and a lot of reused assets would be lame.

Couldn't finish ac origins despite liking the gameplay changes so probably going to skip this .

Having said that I did enjoy the colloseum battles so if it's more of that then might pick it up cheap down the line

That 4chan leak sounds interesting. Mythical beasts, Naval warfare, and an intersecting story between two protaganist? Hmm.
