It's Bardock and Gine

This would be the first anime appearance of the canon version of Bardock together with the first anime appearance of Gine, Goku's mother.

Both come from Toriyama's "Dragon Ball Minus" chapter where he adapted Bardock into the canon story

Was at the Toronto fan expo yesterday and was surprised they had a massive set up for DB. They had a martial arts tournament set up with Shenron and dragonballs hanging from the roof. It was awesome.

They also showed all these amazing new line of figures. Some already out and some upcoming. Some of the nicest figures I've ever seen. Shit was awesome. So happy DB is alive and well in 2018.

When is Toriyama gonna double back around and make Raditz relevant again? He might as well assemble the whole damn family at this rate.

Already kinda confirmed. Leaked as a playable character in upcoming Xenoverse 2 DLC

Both Bardock and Gine are dead, it seems like the movie starts with a flashback of both Goku and Broly's origins

well we already knew this from the trailer

and bardock was always canon

and gine was created by toriyama for dragon ball minus, which is canon

but yeah that's a cool figure!





i'll make the thread when GOGETA is confirmed for the movie and is officially canon in a week

At this point, it's best just to turn off any remaining brain cells dedicated to DB canon and just enjoy the ride.

TBH many were doubting the scene was actually about Bardock, some claimed it was Broly and Paragus. So it's nice to have confirmation

Bardock and Gine were already canon, though? Dragon Ball Minus was written and drawn by Toriyama himself!
