Looks like track 5 isnt from Halo. They updated that in the description.
I agree. Its true they sound 100% like Halo, but i find them to be pretty boring, every Halo Infinite track we heard lacks a certain "punch" or melody to make it unique, they arent really that different from Tom Salta's Spartan Assault bso.

As someone who adores all Halo soundtracks including Halo 4's (e.g. 117 and Green and Blue) and 5's (e.g. Crypt, Light is Green, the entire Osiris Suite and of course The Trials), I get your point.I agree.
I think it's because they're overly derivative of previous work. It's difficult to create that "punch" when it's basically the same as what we've been listening to for the last 15 years.

However, I really wouldn't worry too much. Microsoft wants to tout the nostalgia horn hard for its marketing, and I can't blame them for it. It also seems to be working.
Considering who these three composers are, I'm certain they will offer plenty of wonderful new music. This is them proving they get Halo's sound, much like The Coalation proved they get Gears with Gears 4. But I'm sure there will be lots of variety.
You need to listen to the Ori soundtracks…. Like now. They are absolutely incredible.I'll be honest, I had my doubts when I heard Gareth Coker was working on this since I wasn't familiar with his work, but damn this sounds amazing. I can't wait to get the full soundtrack.
That switch on track 3, sooooo good.
