That's what I expected for Beast Boy. I think it could work. Green hair aside, the actor does remind me of Gar.
For Raven I'm gonna assume that this is just a case of bad photo / angle / lighting.

These are characters that need a lot of special effects to sell them. Of course they're gonna look goofy outside of filming.

I don't expect that because this is apparently a cheap ass TV show. But if I had my way then hell yeah I would want Starfire to have orange skin, doesn't matter who's playing her.

They seem fine tbh. About what I'd expect from a set photo of these two. Especially Raven.

hopefully they don't look too goofy when they green the dude's skin.

I like Beast Boy, and I like Ryan... well, at least I liked him as the voice of Hiro. I don't know how much I like him as an actor yet. But i'm pretty apprehensive about how this is gonna work out for the character...
