For those denying the Neverland documentary I have something else to show.

1. Locked up filing cabinet full of nude boys in poses.
2. He sleeps with children, including at the parents house with their permission.
3. His room is fitted with sensors and noise makers that alerts him when people are approaching.

...how much money do you think these people made? Does it outweigh the danger incurred from crazed fans in denial?

Wade Robson and James Safechuck made $0 from the documentary, as explained in After Neverland, btw. None of their family, nor them themselves, were paid to appear in it. They don't receive any of the profits for the movie, either.

Ah, getting paid zero dollars to confirm what everyone already knew.

The perfect crime.

I wish the media and law would go after the child rapists in our political system and those within the Church also.

Well it should be noted Wade Robson set up a website accepting donations

donations go to a charity about sexual abuse

https://www.hawaiicommunityfoundation.org/robsonchildabusehealingandpreventionfund

spoiler spoiler: jackson fans have been trying to discredit already for days, hence the extreme amount of info the above link gives on (non) taxable identity, non-profit status, charitable tax deductions, etc.

Australia
It's being broadcast on free to air TV in Australia over the next two nights. Not sure if it's an edited version or if the Oprah special is also being shown.

I haven't watched the documentary yet, but I did watch the Oprah-interview earlier today (you can find it here, in full).

I've picked up that some people find the chronology of Wade Robson's story, and perhaps also his way of presenting things as reasonable cause for doubt. I don't share those sentiments (mostly because I'm not very invested in the case), but even if you do, I find it very hard - verging on impossible - that anyone wouldn't fully believe James Safechuck's account.

Throughout the Oprah interview (which is quite good, overall) all of his answers comes across as very candid, and completely devoid of any kind of formulaic way of framing how he comes across in a way that you would expect when "a victim speaks out".

I should note that this is in no way any kind of shading of Wade Robson, but I found James Safechuck's entire demeanor so strikingly credible on its own, to the point that it really wouldn't matter to me if - in some bizarre twist - Wade Robson's account was found to be 100% lies (which isn't possible due to the nature of the case, anyway, so it's really beside the point).

I got the same vibe from Safechuck as I did from Christine Blasey Ford in the Kavanaugh-hearing. They both came across as completely believable, presenting their accounts in a way that felt earnest without even a hint of exaggeration.

The many times Safechuck doesn't provide an "Oprah-let-the-healing-begin-talk-show-answer", and instead shared feelings of messy ambiguity, was very reminiscent of the way Mrs Ford was upfront about not remembering important details to her case with full clarity.

I also got the sense with Safechuck - as I did with Mrs Ford - that these are basically "everyday-normal-people", who has everything to lose and nothing to gain from doing this, which makes it very easy to completely dismiss the cynical notion that this is an angling for a media career.

Again, I really need to stress that this is not a back-handed way of discrediting anything Wade Robson said. I am simply saying that James Safechuck's account - on its own - is powerful enough, and feels genuine enough that any time spent picking over Wade's account almost feels pointless.
With Wade. I feel he's comparmentlising his feeling, So he gives the impression of being more calm (watch people are suing against him, to call him a liar)
I know this thread is gigantic and I intend to read through all of it, but is there a particular reason THIS was the final straw after all these years?
I can't speak for others. But i binned him off during the early 90s.
Not to mention, there's a lot of MJ defenders (mostly talking about people outside of Era) who thinks MJ's Peter Pan complex made him sexually inactive.
Nah. In here too.

Just finished my watch. Part 1 was hard to listen to.

So I don't believe those moms were ignorant of what was happening. Like, to say they didn't even have an inkling is hard to believe. I think it's likely they were so obsessed with the money and MJ's fame they just cast it aside.

MJ's home was an amusement park for children. He had them sleep with him. Bells in the hallways to detect someone approaching. The neverland employee witnesses. And more people had to be complicit for this to keep happening. I've never done any research into this but the doc seems pretty damning.

Edit - also my man burned THE thriller jacket and glove. I would've sold them no question lol

BUT ...... BUT.......... THEY'RE IN IT FOR THE MONEY!.
Not to mention, "he watches regular porn, he couldn't have been a pedophile"

That's a bit of a frustrating issue that was used to discredit the allegations to some.
While ignoring the type of porn he watched.

Has amusement park for children in his home.
Sleeps with children on a nightly basis.
Has extra levels of security leading to the rooms in which he sleeps with children.

People ITT: Yeah, he's weird but he makes great music and the witnesses aren't credible. I'm siding with Mike.

It's because he didn't have a childhood, and was paranoid because of the Paparazzi.
Man that other thread (and the beginning of this one) whew that's a trip.

Leaves voicemails halfway around the world just for a child.
Has secret hand gestures to show affection when out in public.
Methodically separates the children from their families, while also his staff enables such behavior.
Admits on TV that he sleeps with kids and that everyone should do it.
Deniers wouldn't let their kids sleep with a grown man but apparently his behavior is only "weird."

Yeah. Most people who don't have childhoods sleep with kids in their 40's. I forgot that there's mountains of data to back that up.

But his childhood. He NEEDED to sleep with kids because he didn't get to sleep with kids as a child. /s

Watched the documentary a second time.

My heart really breaks for Jimmy.

Not that I don't care for Wade and his story, I do. But Jimmy is either an Oscar caliber actor, or he's still carrying a lot of the trauma from his time with Michael. It's clear as day.

This documentary is really a window into how the abused can come to harbor affection for their abusers. These boys loved Michael, even before they met him, and he preyed on that. He nurtured it.

The way James was describing his relationship with Michael was disturbing and hard to watch when he got into the details.

It's a whole other layer of cruel on top of the sexual abuse. He not only treated these children like lovers, he was an abusive lover on top of that. He threw them away, then brought them back when he needed them, in such callous ways, preying on their love for him. A whole other dimension of fucked up.

I've seen this come up a lot, and while it very well may be true, It's important to recognize that not everybody expresses their emotions in the same way. Wade could very well be hurting as much as Jimmy.

I commend you on sitting through it a second time. I don't think I can do it all over again.

And yeah it's a really fucked up thing to love/like someone who you realized later on betrayed your trust in the worst way possible.

Don't get me wrong; I absolutely believe that Wade's experience with MJ was every bit as real and traumatic as Safechuck's.

It's just hard to watch someone who still so visibly shaken by it.

Oh yeah, no doubt.

For me, I often identified more with Wade in how ghostly/stone faced he was talking about his experiences. But they both shared very similar and relatable stories.

Watched it. Not buying it at all. No evidence...nothing. I think its just a way to try get some easy money.

Step one: Come up with a story that will be heavily scrutinized and that you know will trigger a large group of people to attack you.

Step two: Forget to ask for any money when making the documentary.

Step three: ????

Step four: Pure profit, baby.

Easy as pie.

What amazes me are the MJ fans who actually seem afraid of watching the documentary. They refuse to even have their image of the man challenged.

The mental gymnastics that have been accepted by society are mind boggling. We've known this stuff forever, but people are so quick to dismiss things simply because it was MJ.
