At this point the following major Nintendo IPs are not on Switch (or announced)

Star Fox
Kid Icarus
Punch Out
F-Zero
Earthbound

Also there is only one Mario Sport game (not including the Olympics) so I'll put money on another one for 2020

If I could get Bayonetta 3, more Mario and a new Monolith Soft game I'd be in heaven.

Odyssey has been criminally underserved by Nintendo. The only way to rationalise the barebones post launch support is to think a sequel is on the horizon. It's arguably the best game on Switch and it's the best selling original exclusive.

I can't wait to see what Monolith have been up - these guys and gals are primed for the big leagues. A new IP in the right genre, with the right look, could be the year's killer app.

Bayonetta has to be next year. The original and it's sequel are incredible. I'm sure this will be too.

I feel like they've graduated far beyond sports title status.

Give Camelot all the assets and the time they need to do it properly.

Not that FIFA ever actually had an effect on MS, it seems like a good time now that EA has completely given up.
Mario Strikers is great and Next Level Games is respected for it. People want them to make a new Mario Strikers game because of how different it is from all of Nintendo's other sports games. I wouldn't say they've graduated from it.

Some people really believe they use the same map?

Of course it's the same map and same NPC, just an extra underworld dungeon...

Why do you believe some random poster on the internet?

Anyway, they use the same engine and probably can reuse some assets, so a 3 year development time could be enough.
There's also Aonuma straight up saying that to Gameinformer...

I want new Mario Kart stuff next year. They'd get a lot of people to subscribe and resubscribe to the online service if they did. But who knows?

I highly expect Super Mario Party 2 in 2020. NDcube will deliver something that the Switch Lite users can play without leaving out the people who enjoyed playing the first game on the TV.

Lastly, I think Alpha Dream will have something to show. They've never made something in HD before. I wish them luck.

I like MercuryStream and Samus Returns was fine but letting a non-Nintendo dev team remake Super Metroid would be absolute sacrilege, lol. If they're remaking anything, it'd be Fusion, which was their original pitch before Sakamoto asked them to do Metroid II.

Something about how early they were willing to tease BOTW 2 makes me feel like Odyssey 2 definitely isn't coming next year. I'd love to be wrong though, since Mario Odyssey is only the greatest and most perfect video game ever made.

Why did you put mario odyssey at 80% when we got no confirmation on it and BotW2 at 60% when we already have a teaser? Makes no sense, also MP4 being rebooted at the start of this year will most likely mean 2021 and beyond

Because I'm more confident they'll release Mario Odissey next year, going by what the company has done in the past.
Specifically because:
A. They have always relesed at least one new Mario platform game every year since NSMB in 2006, except for the years when they release Smash Bros instead.
B. Both Mario Galaxy and 3D Land got a sequel (although the latter on a different console) so I'm expecting Odyssey to receive a sequel too.
C. Mario Odyssey was released in early 2017. By fall 2020 it would mark 3 years and a half, enough time to develop a new game given their track record.
Still going by track record, if I remember correctly no 3D Mario game since Galaxy has ever been confirmed more than a year before its actual release.

I wouldn't rule out Mario Odyssey for next year.

There was not really any point showing it this E3 where Mario Maker 2 and Mario and Sonic was more then enough Mario content.

In saying that I could also see the 3D Mario team making a new IP (Or DK) for next year or the year after and have a new 3D Mario game ready for Switch 2 in 2023/24
