Oh I read that wrong...like my employer could somehow look up that I called up a suicide or LGBT hotline. Sorry!They're called EAPs (Employee assistance programs). They are confidential and complimentary third party services, and are provided by employers for the specific purpose of aiding in mental wellness. It's an accessable resource that many people don't know that they have.
It's an avenue to explore.
It's no big deal if they know I see a mental health person, I'm not just "out" and don't feel safe being out at work. I'll look into that.
