Figured this deserved its own thread to help spread the word.

Tomorrow night, across the US, there will be candlelight vigils to call for the end of concentration camps at the border of the United States.

Details for local events can be found here: https://www.lightsforliberty.org/?f...WtrHZFimxSVySYDlrUvrSPJzYqq7M-xvzmQw-HSSfrYVY

For those of you who have felt powerless, scared, or ashamed of our nation, this is a great way to make your voice heard, and potentially discover other ways to help those who are currently detained or seeking sanctuary. If you're available, please try to find a way to attend.

Good to spread the message but realistically do you think those in power will even blink? You'd need to actually disrupt them to even get a glance

Images from the protest in Madison last night. It was actually amazing, because they held the protest near a neighborhood that's full of immigrant housing in Madison. Immigrants were running alongside the protestors cheering and were so happy they were there. It was really beautiful.

For those who were wondering, there was actually a march as well, but I agree, the "Vigil" branding was a little wimpy given the conditions. It was a great event.
