Well, I was a sound designer at Oddworld for a brief period of time. Coming from personal experience with Lorne, I don't think it's accurate to project him as far right or to put his political ideology in a simple box. I spent hours, days, and months talking to him about everything, specifically politics. Ultimately the man has very diverse opinions across the political spectrum.
Hmm good to know but the evidence of following and liking alt right content is pretty clear.

I'm just giving insight on the person I worked 4 feet away from. Lorne displayed empathy, concern, and compassion for everybody I ever heard him talk about. In fact, the only time I saw him being critical was of his own work tbh.

Sure. I don't know how his workplace is. Is it relevant in terms of how he acted around people of colour and women?
i mean lorne is *showing* us who he is. just because he is civil and respectable in a work environment doesn't mean he doesn't have abhorrent politics. otherwise how can you rationalise the views that he's publicly shown?
Don't know if that's sarcasm but like I said, I enjoyed my brief time at Oddworld. I'm hoping that Soulstorm continues to work politics into the narrative.
Fully understood, some really nice people can be real poopyhead online and viceversa.
I get that, but it's more than possible to be a good friend, colleague and have a full spectrum of pleasant emotions and still post vile stuff like that anti-Islamic tweet.
What would you like for people here to do exactly? They can only base him of his current online presence, which is he responsible for, and your experience with him.
What a weird post. I mean, did he work with any Muslims while the poster was there? Is the poster white? Because that would surely explain his empathy and caring for that person. When someone is liking alt right tweets and racist garbage there's no defending it. Normal people don't do that shit.
Good on you. Lorne is nice guy and a great person to his friends from my limited experience with him but also an asshole with harmful belief leanings. That's not enough for me to "cancel" someone personally. I won't listen to Michael Jackson, Brand New, etc since those people did something tangibly wrong.
