Guess that rules out a remaster/port for them. Capcom seems pretty picky with what they let become BC.

Still great to bring the games forward though, I'm finally going to check out LP3.

*Code Veronica too! Yes!

Does Code Veronica X have 1080p/4K support? it really sucks that the HD remaster is stuck at 720p, kinda wanna play that game again, even though it has flaws.

Y'know, I was thinking not half an hour ago "Man, it's been a while since any games were added to backwards compatibility", so nice.

Not that Lost Planet or Code Veronica particularly interest me, but, y'know.

I still have a copy of Lost Planet despite not owning a working 360, guess it's time to go back and check it out again!

Lost Planet 2... I have bad memories of that game. Bought it Day 1 expecting a cool Monster Hunter-esque romp after that demo with the Gordiant, ended up getting a crappy shooter where you mostly fight humans instead of Akrid. That level set on a big train was pretty neat though, I might give it another try if I can find it cheap. Never played Lost Planet 3 but I haven't heard great things.

Oh that's pretty damn nice.

Now if only Capcom would pull the PC versions of Lost Planet: Colonies and LP2 out of the GFWL trash heap.

Lost Planet 2!!! One of the best co-op experiences around! Some amazing memories and great laughs playing with friends in that game.

It's actually kinda weird to me that only just now is Lost Planet 1 available for Xbox BC. I remember that game being a prominent showpiece for the early 360 days.

The HD version of Code Veronica has redone lighting instead of the PS2 version lighting, it makes the Lighter really stand out and its great this version isn't lost to the previous gen.

The only bad news for this is this likely means Capcom has no plans for new ports of Lost Planet. As of right now, no title that is BC from capcom has had a new rerelease (CVX would be the only one that kind of counts with the PS2 on PS4, but it anything this makes it even with that version).

So looks like their future port plans don't include Lost Planet.
