Seems good, though on the lower end of what could conceivably go into a knights deck.
The unboxing also had other unrevealed cards, but the streamers didn't notice them and didn't showcase them, so we don't have good pictures. The cards will all be revealed tomorrow anyway.
Magic stream announced a Throne of Eldraine Mythic Edition, now called Deluxe Collection.
This will be $449.99 and go on sale on October 2nd. It will be limited, but will have international shipping.
So as someone not really invested in physical Magic, what's the main source of the cost of this collection? I'm guessing either the art print or the foil sheet?
It's the Collector Boosters, which are $20-30 each in WotC's hellish post-MSRP world.
What I mean to ask is: what's the main draw for people buying it? Anything specific or is the whole shebang equally enticing?
I assume they're more than superficially different from normal boosters, I'm guessing more rares?

Foil tokens are in normal draft booster packs, but they're guaranteed in the collector boosters.

Considering no card has been spoiled yet that makes red 1/1 dwarf tokens I'm fairly convinced that's the what the red spell mountain will do

Good chapter.
You know, this series is really zooming through set releases. On one hand, it works for the story of Sawatari and Kanou, but on the other hand the Magic matches have been handled well enough that it's a shame we're missing out on those. Plus it really seems like the two leads will stop playing Magic together by Urza's Destiny. And with Sawatari wanting Kanou to make time for her for Urza's Legacy's release while also mentioning how she's hiding this Magic playing from her mother, I have to imagine it's possible they'll stop playing together by Urza's Legacy, with them being unable to meet up for its release.
Also, with the Eldraine rotation coming up, it's funny timing to see them having to deal with rotation too.
I would happily take this trade. I don't want to actually use either Teferi but 3feri is just so miserable to play against.
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but does anyone have success selling cards on FB Marketplace/Craigslist? If so, do you usually do a big discount for bulk stuff? Like I have a set of rares that I want to see and go a bit under for what the total would be if I sold them on eBay. Thoughts?

It's insanity and I love it. Day 3/the top 4 especially sounds like it's going to be a ton of fun to watch, with Bo3 matches played in Standard, Modern, and Legacy. Also they're giving a wrestling-style championship belt to the winner, hahaha.

Sucks for me since I have a lot of fun playing Big Teferi and not finding a substitute in this new pack makes me sad. At least I have Rule of Law for the jank good times, don't know why I love that card. Oh I know why, cause I'm a shit eater.

If you really wanted to, you could put an exiled card with Adventure that isn't on an adventure into the graveyard.

Is this the first non-creature artifact to just have +1/+1 counters on it, instead of charge counters or whatever you remove to put a +1/+1 counter on a creature?

Obviously not the main intent of this card but in draft you never know.
Time to start brewing! I think I'm going to start with a BG (and a splash of U) Food deck centered around Feasting Troll King. I've also been toying around with a UB reanimator deck, though we didn't get any real new tools for it aside from maybe Emry. I'll probably also play some Simic Flash with the new Wildborn Preserver, but otherwise that deck is largely the same.
There's a lot of one-off good EDH cards in there, lol. Weapon Rack and the Simic fairy are great for any type of +1/+1 counter deck, and there's a lot of white lifegain options - I really like the queen.
Some of the alternate art looks great, but fuuuuuuuuuuuuck spending the 20-25 bucks on a collector's pack.
Set as a whole still feels a bit wonky, though.

I'm more upset that Piper of the Swarm basically interacts with nothing this set, besides that 4 mana 1/2 goblin. Are there rats on Theros?

No. We found can't block is just better gameplay, so we let both black and red use it.

We're looking at one shot effects right now, but exploring things like draws greater than one. When trying new things, we usually start conservatively.

Yes, this was the reason I included the Banisher Priest ability in green in the Mechanical Color Pie article. But too much of R&D didn't feel comfortable with it in green so it got changed in set design. I was really proud of it as a top-down Big Bad Wolf.
