Man pulls gun on Muslim teens at McDonald’s in Minnesota

Just the idea of having a gun on me daily while I go about my errands is such a weird and foreign concept to me.
I'm pissed I emailed this to MPR and they (or any other local news I could find) have still failed to report it. It's like unless McDonald's issues a press release there is no story.

Yes I'm sure the man that flashed his gun at the Muslim teens didn't have a good reason for being shoved.
But, it's good that the police are investigating "whether a crime" has occurred. And it's probably assault.
I think it mostly just depends on where you live. Here in Kentucky(even in the bigger cities), I assume someone has a gun within any 100 yards.

You would be surprised. In Georgia a lot of people carry concealed. If they dont have it on their person they can quickly go to the car and retrieve it.

You are right it does vary state to state but my comment was a reflection of the US a whole in response to this "being the norm in the US". I know places like GA,AL,FL, etc have way more people running around with guns than say New York or Hawaii.
In the US, places like NY and Hawaii are the exception, not the norm if the norm is 999 out of 1000 not having access to a gun in public. A LOT of people have guns in their car. Well i shouldn't say people, a lot of men have guns in their car.

I mean, it doesn't really matter. Yeah it's heinous because he was racially insensitive, but even if the entire episode had nothing to do with race; kicking innocent customers out of the store with an armed madmen is a fireable offense in itself.

I feel like these people are watching a different video. He clearly shoved the teen, the teen said "what's up?!" and took a few steps toward him (because he's not a coward and some dude just assaulted him.....), then the guy immediately brandished a firearm. That guy is a fearful pussy (seriously, pulling a gun on a few 100 pound when soaking wet teens?). But of course Redditors are treating him like a victim.

Minnesota is really good at screwing over blacks. Overall it usually ranks top 5 as one of the worse states for blacks.
