That was my first thought as well, but they'd have to jump through some hoops to explain why such a valued specimen was whisked away to this place. But then they're going to have to jump through some hoops explaining how Emma is going to not only survive but save these kids, so Norman is as good of a reason as any.
As far as Blue Exorcist goes... I have to go back and re-read it or something, because I still don't get the Shima thing (like both sides thought he was a traitor, so they let him be?), or even what's happening with the Order and the Illuminati, etc. I feel similar confusion with Seraph of the End, I think I just can't take monthly doses of manga without going back and re-reading it when it's collected.

So I was meaning to read awhile ago but could never get past the first chapter. However, I take that back and decided to read 5 chapters. This manga is really something else. First, the art is amazing. Its this weird sort of blend of Akira Hiramoto (Prison School, Me and the Devil Blue) and Inio Asano (Oyasumi PunPun) It has the weird blend of melancholy, eccentrism, and a touch of surrealism. The gist of the story is basically a revenge plot that ultimately culminates into something far worst. It finished in January so I am taking my time going through it. This manga is worth checking out.

GAAAWWWWDDDD DAAAAMN I recently caught up with the OPM manga and holy shit what a fucking fight. Possibly my favorite fight in the series (possibly in shounen) after the final fight in the arc in the original webcomic. Wow Garou is the best Villian and this shows why, this manga is so good, you forget that Garou is the villain and root that he pushes through the trouble in front of him. Murata is so good, its not hard to see how this fight would play out in the anime, this shit flows so well. The anime team has a lot of pressure to make this fight even half as good as it is in the manga.
The ending of the first half with Death Gattling was hype as hell, it happenned in the webcomic too but wasn't even close to the manga in terms of hype. I tried to be as vague and non spoilery as I could.

Berserk is on a more consistent schedule than HxH I feel, especially in the last 2-3 years.

Yesterday I got my hands on the second volume of I hear the sunspot (and I'd say I got lucky finding it on my usual online store, it's already sold out again on there and not because it's a sought after title).

I found this volume a bit disappointing compared to the first one, despite being a meatier one page wise (at least I feel the volume is bigger and it costed more than the first one).
My disappointment comes mainly from the half strained relationship Kouhei and Taichi have here. There are a bit too many misunderstandings for my liking when we are at the point the two characters should have grown that little bit to make them open their mouth and clearly speak their feelings.
Instead I gotta see Taichi act like a fool because he doesn't understand his own feelings or Kouhei's feelings, getting down because he believes that Kouhei won't feel lonely if Taichi isn't around because, in Taichi's mind, anyone could take his place. Kouhei, in my mind, made his feelings pretty clear in the first volume with the kiss. There is only so much stupidity on the part of Taichi that I can withstand at that point.
I liked Maya because from starting out disliking Taichi (her beloved Kouhei is always talking about him, making her dislike him), she grew up to at least see his good points. I also liked the various gatherings with the other characters, since they were good at highlighting the faux pas people can make on both sides when it comes to interactions between people with a disability and people without.
The volume ends on a good note, although I disliked one thing toward the end. Taichi and Kouhei finally get together and Taichi says something like this: You made me gay now take responsibility. Like...
Oh, I gotta agree with the Editor who said, in the afterword, that Taichi and Kouhei should french-kiss more.

This month Bleach finally ended (the last 2 volumes took forever to come out) and Assassination Classroom as well.
