Yeah, probably just the remaining handful matches of this tournament then a jump to a wedding or final match/something to wrap things up.With the way Hinomaru is going I wouldn't be surprised if it ended soon.
I found a manga about an old knight who retires to roam the country side and man it's so enjoyable.

Yeah but series that doesnt have anime for a long time usually slow down in sales, see Haikyuu for example.Anime always helps a lot unless a series is already well established enough to have hit saturation like One Piece or AoT

think thats hard to directly compare since Quintessential Quintuplets did get one more volume than Shingeki during that period, will be interesting if it somehow maintained its edge at years end.
Wow, good on 5Toubun. It deserves it. Can't remember the last time I enjoyed a harem series this much, considering I'm usually not a fan of the genre.Best-selling manga series for the first half of 2019:

A warning to any reading Bard Loen:That said, I highly recommend it to anyone who likes seemingly well-grounded fantasy stories. At its heart, it's a feel-good story that wants to cut out your heart and leave you sobbing on the floor. Be prepared to cry.
No World Trigger this month. Ashihara's gallbladder surgery resulted in intestinal complications, so he needs additional time to recover.
That is very sad to hear, I think Komi san would be very successful after seeing the success of KaguyaProbably never considering that it's from Shonen Sunday and companies don't seem to have interest on titles on the magazine and Shogakukan titles on other magazines are the ones more requested like on Gessan.
I dont think Kaguya anime got popular because of the writing tho. It got popular because the humor and the likeable characters and that is something that Komi doesnt lackI don't think Komi-san would find the same success as Kaguya on the grounds that the writing isn't anywhere near as strong.
I wouldn't say the writing in Komi-san isn't as strong, the two series are just looking to do two vastly different things.I don't think Komi-san would find the same success as Kaguya on the grounds that the writing isn't anywhere near as strong.

I'm happy for Yaiba and worried for Act-Age. I really hope a potential anime will boost its popularity. Please don't let it die.More for other Jump series in the same time period:
1,577,295 - Kimetsu no Yaiba
1,029,632 - Black Clover
885,590 - Dragon Ball Super
834,321 - Food Wars
811,983 - World Trigger
761,224 - Jujutsu Kaisen
637,762 - Slam Dunk (New Edition)
606,504 - We Never Learn
566,529 - Act-Age
499,896 - Rurouni Kenshin: Hokkaido Arc
472,088 - Dr. Stone
Granted I'm of the opinion that Komi san's cast isn't super great until chracters like Yamai and Agari are dropped in the new semester in favor of less awful characters like ManbagiI dont think Kaguya anime got popular because of the writing tho. It got popular because the humor and the likeable characters and that is something that Komi doesnt lack
They are both doing different things but Komi san at least early on really relied on characters with basically one gimmick running the jokes, while Kaguya generally opted for characters that evolved with the running jokes as the series advanced.I wouldn't say the writing in Komi-san isn't as strong, the two series are just looking to do two vastly different things.
Wow, World Trigger must have had some solid backlog sales to reach the number with only one volume release.More for other Jump series in the same time period:

Oof, it's a shame to see Dr Stone at the bottom here. It's a joy to read every week, so hopefully the anime gives it a sizable boost.More for other Jump series in the same time period:

I'd be a little surprised if it ended that soon. Not sure that is enough time to introduce the 'why' person, conclude that conflict, then end the series. Can't rule it out though.Dr. Stone 105
So it's a weapon, and it has weaknesses.
Anyone else think Dr. Stone is ending soon? There's 118 elements on the periodic table, and the chapter numbering "Z=" references that. Perhaps it will go beyond that...
I wouldn't worry about Act-Age. It's already pretty popular and still growing. Plus some of the longer running series like Food Wars and Sumo may be ending by the end of the year, so there should be space even if several from the last two serialization rounds really take off.I'm happy for Yaiba and worried for Act-Age. I really hope a potential anime will boost its popularity. Please don't let it die.
