Power read thru Beastars to the latest chapter

Man Melon is a wily fucker to deal with, wish she (the mangaka) actually showed how he was caught by Legosi but leaving it to the imagination is fine

I see the good bois of 701 are back (the B-Strike chapter will always be my favorite)

They skipped the translation of chapter 150 which showed him catching Melon for some reason

The funniest part of the Kaguya chapter was the name of the porno and where Kashiwagi found it. So subtle, so great.

October 2019 Recommendation: 6000 - The Deep Sea of Madness

OgxaADC.jpg

Supernatural underwater horror | 4 volumes, complete work
After a tragic accident at a large facility 6000 meters below water killed its workers, the facility was abandoned for three years. After the Japanese company owning it is taken over by a Chinese company, the facility will be opened again. Kadokura Kengo and his colleague Danzaki are sent along with the team reopening the underwater facility. However, right away, an 'accident' grievously injures Danzaki. Kengo is left alone with colleagues he doesn't trust in an eerie underwater environment that may have more to it than meets the eye... (source)

From OniBarubary:
Very VERY good at creating an uncomfortable and spoopy atmosphere and utilizes it well. Might fall off a bit when you learn some stuff but I didn't mind it at all. (source)

Komi-san
oh boy, I have never seen Komi talk so much, she is really serious about helping Manbagi, but how will she react to the question?

Hell's Paradise 75

I feel like this has slowed down a lot since they got into the palace. I'm liking the fights okay, but at this point I'm just like GET ON WITH IT. Still a great series tho.

Spy x Family 15.2

Cute side story. Anya remains gr8.

Delighted, bought the first volume of this and while I liked it it hard for me to justify buying physical volumes unless I absolutely adore something.

Woot almost caught up on Fire Force Eng volumes, one more volume to go and then just wait for the 26th for this months.

In v 15, Joker v the assassin dude was an epic fight.

What's the opinion on Hell's Paradise? Is it any good? The first three chapters look a bit generic, but the potential is there. Do the fights become interesting?

I enjoyed what I read of it but a bunch of chapters got taken off manga plus while I was reading it. I think its also available as part of the SJ subscription but I can't figure out how to get it to show up in the app.

Yeah, it's good. Great cast of characters with a good amount of intrigue and mystery.

Haven't messed around with the Viz app too much, but might have something to do with the age/sign-in requirement?

But it's right there on the website itself.

Asuperu Kanojo Vol. 2 Ch. 15

I've really fallen in love with this manga due to how surprisingly well it covers its subject manner. After that bombshell dropped in the end of the last chapter, I was wondering how it'd follow that up.

It's great to see a manga that has a real, heartfelt adult conversation between two people and that "again, again!" line after
they kiss
was heartwarming. Yokoi's such a nice guy.

Seven Deadly Sins
I was going to post the "How many times do we have to teach you this lesson old man!" .gif because I legit did not expect this to only last one chapter. So I guess.... is it done? Is it finally over?

I just caught up on this series as well, after I heard about if from a friend.
Really interesting series. Obviously it's walking on eggshells with the extremely sensitive subject matter, but I'm glad it's at least trying to do something a lot of manga don't even acknowledge. So far it's done it decently, at least IMO.
I think it's going to be most interesting to see how the codependency stuff plays out from here.

I adore it. Sort of a Fantasy Japan take on the original Suicide Squad pitch. Fights aren't ever really my favorite part of it, but there's lots of great character and mystery stuff.

That is a plot twist I would have not expected in this arc. It is the moment for some character's development for Itsuki, finally.
The smile Mudou makes in one of the last panels doesn't give me positive vibes about him, however. Next chapter will be really interesting

WHAT!? Not the kind of plot development/reveal I was expecting from Itsuki's side of the cultural festival. Seems like something all the sisters should be involved with and last more than 2 chapters.

Kaguya 168:
I'm dying at that dramatic reenactment of their first attempt of trying to bond knowing that punchline was right around the corner.

Kaguya 168

This chapter was perfection. Feels, lols and cuteness all in one.

I don't know how they do it, but each chapter just keeps on improving the manga.

I wonder what the hold up is on getting new series to take the place of TSS, BC, and DT. Those series have been dead to rights for awhile now.

Arata Primal END

Hmm, seems this has been axed. Could have been a worse ending so I am glad we got what we got.

The series was really enjoyable so it is sad to see it end this soon.

Yeah, I'm surprised it just ended since this manga has a potential to be a hit. I really like its survival aspect and the conspiracy surrounding the accident, though it could be a bit convoluted since it involved time travel.

Chainsaw Man 46

Brutal. I love it!
That line about "needing permission to fire a gun" was interesting. Hmm...
It's funny how Reze went out of her way to put panties on before she went after Aki.

God damn Shonen Jump is in such a good spot right now. Feels like every manga is doing something hype. Don't remember the last time I've been enjoying so many series like this!!

As "bad" as its sales are, it's actually currently the best selling 2019 debut in WSJ right now, besides maybe Chainsaw Man.

There's so many other flops in line to end before it, as well as several long running series about to reach their natural conclusion, that I think that Samurai 8's going to survive for a while pretty much by default. I'd only worry about it if we get several hits in the 2020 serialization year.
