At 25:00 in Akasaka
At 25:00, in Akasaka is a fantastic take on the actors become lovers story though with the twist that the actors actually knew each other in the past and one kind of had feelings for the other. Though it started as the normal guy that likes an actor finally gets to star alongside him in a drama (something not uncommon for the trope) this ones pits the two male leads in a gay romance. As if reflecting the life that the characters on screen go through in their journey to fall in love, the main characters do as well.
Since they are actors in a drama we do get older characters than usual and they look cute.
The r18 nature of the series came into play in an expected way that is, "in order to feel my characters more please show me how to kiss and make out," and it goes from there with their stopping point being penetration. Though I found the foot love and other parts more interesting.
I loved the manga for how the characters grew to like each other as well as how the drama seemed to be integrated nicely in it. The lines the characters on screen said in one chapter fully reflected how the lead character (Shirasaki) felt and then even more seeing how into the role they were and seeing that reflected in the beautiful artwork during the acting was amazing. Really, it made me wish for more of these types of stories written.
The final confession scene was amazing especially after the comedy moment before it.
Overall I have nothing but praise for this manga.

Whats Futekiya like on a technical level? Saw earlier that mangaplanet launching a less specialised subscription service but the price is quite high for something that doesn't even have dedicated apps.
I'm disappointed at how we did a time skip in Black Clover but everyone seems to look the same.

And I'm not really a fan of how this mini arc went down. You would think their biological father showing up would have a bigger impact on the story than a 3 chapter arc. I get the point is that he's not their father despite the blood relation, so they ultimately don't give a crap about him, but I still feel this should have been an arc on its own instead of used as Itsuki's character development in a mini arc within an arc. Like, only Itsuki actually has a real conversation with him. I would have loved to see someone like Ichika or Nino rip into him, or at least give their opinion on the situation.

Yeah, I have been on the fence about subscribing to this- Reading stuff you buy on Renta is a pain on an iPad (where I read all my digital manga) because it doesn't have an app, so i'm wary of paying for a service with no app. They also had a period where they couldn't take sign-ups because their credit card provider dropped them as a porn provider, so it has a chance of blowing up

Well, actually now he could know it by exclusion. Or, to be more precise, he was kissed by Ichika, Nino and Miku, in addition to the the bell kisser. If he realized that none of the three is the beek kisser, then he can get to the conclusion she is either Yotsuba or Itsuki.

IKEA. I got 2 Billy bookcases, 2 Detolfs (for displaying toys and shit), and 1 4x4 Kallax!
The Chobits thing is annoying...I picked up random volumes online. It was the first manga I ever read and felt like I NEEDED to have it in my collection. But I just grabbed them in various eBay auctions and ended up with different spines. I'll eventually replace the oddballs to match. But I'm in no rush as I have other series I'd like to buy first.

This has been another wonderful and so fun chapter and I think that this DVD just triggered something bigger in the relationship between Kaguya and Shirogane.

I mean, people do have that mentality when it comes to cheating. You got to be selfish to a degree to when it comes to stuff like this. If someone else likes the person you like, you either pursue anyway or give up.

Its a manga about a small, quiet kid joining his school's paired competitive dancing team and its great. It's so good and wholesome and cute and not enough people cared about it when it was running and I don't get it cause look at these two!
The writer/artist combo behind Onani Master currently are doing Destroy All of Humanity. It Can't be Regenerated, which is a romance manga framed around late 90s Magic the Gathering/nerd culture. It isn't going to be for everyone, but it's probably my favorite thing ever, as it feels like it was written for me and no one else on the planet.

I feel like Molester Man and Onani Master are similar manga, and I think the conflict and development in Onani Master is a bit better than Molester Man, but both are fun reads with good character growth and arcs (the translation for molester man that i read was also kind of shitty so that also affected my score lol). I'm a sucker for that kind of coming of age, character development, romance shit.
Real talk though, so many good manga are so short. It's a double edged sword because the longer it goes the higher the chance the quality will dip...but damn if I wouldn't want to read more of Molester Man or Onani Master 😭

You can also check out Shudan, which was done by Yoko, which is a series about an elementary school co-ed soccer team, that unfortunatly no one other than DTL and I read, which lead to it getting canceled and rushed to a conclusion after 3 volumes.
Will recommend Welcome to the Ballroom if you haven't read it because it is a very battle hype non battle manga kinda like Haikyuu. Only issue is it has been on hiatus on and off due to the creator's back or wrist problems (?)

Elevator Strategy END (cover is too hot for resetera, sorry)
Elevator Strategy is one of THOSE BL which uses sexual harassment as the initiation sequence for driving two characters together. While it comes off pushy and kind of distasteful, the characters do have some chemistry for one another (bickering lovers trope, older bottom, younger top, though they are versatile in the terminology of the manga) which to me made their more day to day relationship romance moments more interesting than the initiation sequence.
That said, since this is called Elevator strategy quite a bit of action happens in the elevator (nudge nudge wink wink) and ultimately we do get the climactic and expected sequence where someone calls the elevator and they are in the middle of doing the do and having to find some. It was a very hot and also funny scene especially how they matched their sounds to make it sound like a ghost or something.
Overall, apart from the two sexual harassment incidents, I thought it was a fairly fun manga and one that I will remember. Both characters actually looked pretty cute during regular scenes day-to-day scenes, and one line of dialogue will forever stick with me (when they are "dating")
Watching the Boyfriend as he plays basketball was one of the best moments.
