Manor Lords is a strategy game that allows you to experience the life of a medieval lord. Grow your starting village into a bustling city, manage resources and production chains, and expand your lands through conquest.

Inspired by the art and architecture of late 14th century Franconia, Manor Lords prioritizes historical accuracy wherever possible, using it to inform gameplay mechanics and visuals alike. Common medieval tropes are avoided in favor of historical accuracy in order to make the world feel more authentic, colorful, and believable.

This is my most hyped city-builder thats been on my wishlist forever now.

I don't purchase/play early-access and always wait for 1.0 but as soon as it hits I will be picking it up. Nevarias' playthroughs on YT have been delightful to watch.

Yeah same here, early access isn't typically my thing, but I will be all over his once 1.0 releases.

Played a bit on PC GP. I'm technically at work right now, but really looking forward to diving in this weekend. Won't be surprised if this hits like 400k+ between Steam and GP this weekend.

I had it wishlisted for sometime. Really looking forward to it. I have it downloaded and ready to go. I too normally dont buy EA games too often. But this one will be a rare exception as i seen it in action already and liked what i saw.

played a couple of hours, felt a bit like i was chucked in at the deep end but i can see how this could be addictive.

built a church, upgrade a couple of my houses and now got 350 days to prep for bandits. trying to figure out how i get armour and/or money.

Oh shit, I didn't know about early access. Nice. I'll give it a go on game pass and buy the full release on Steam later on, hopefully the performance is sound.

This is only $25.49 right now on Humble Store if you are a Humble Choice member by the way. They have commented they may raise price over time during Early Access, so if you're interested, I would recommend jumping in earlier than later.

Does the game seem very accessible? It looks cool but I'm not usually a big strategy game/city builder guy and I don't want to buy just to get overwhelmed and stop playing.

I remember the last well received town building game had impossible to survive winters, so I wonder how this one will go. (Edit : it was Banished)
Looks interesting though, my brother will most likely buy this as a fan of the genre so thanks family sharing.

You can select a mode which removes the combat/enemy regions, allowing you to just get used to the building first. As long as you remember to stock up on food/fire wood before winter I don't think it's too difficult.

When I first read the name, without knowing what the game is, my mind pictured some VN a la Pride and Prejudice, lol. Posh lords and manors... I could see it.

(The game looks great, by the way).

Well you can go into third person of your lord and walk around the village to watch the peasants work plus you can build a manor so it kinda fits

Enjoying it, wishing it can reach its potential. But Im worried that the scale is too much for 1 person, so I hope he's able to successfully manage it. I want to dive into it but I also dont like playing EA and hope it wont be a long wait.
