Mark Julio (Markman, Tekken Brand Advisor) says we should expect one last major Fighting Game announcement before 2019

wonder if snk is working on another fighter. maybe a samurai showdown revival?
While I don't think it could be Virtua Fighter 6, it could be a Virtua Fighter 5 port to PC (or better yet, PC and current gen consoles, but probably just PC if Sega ever plans to do so). Which would still make a lot of people happy and it's certainly unexpected.

I don't think it's going to be SNK since SS is already announced and so is the next KoF (with no official reveal yet), so neither of them are unexpected, unless they're working on a third fighting game, which probably isn't happening.

Many rumors for a really long time now. Often tied to Smash leakers.
Considering he works for Namco Bandai, my guess is that it's the 3rd DLC fighter for SCVI. Come on Amy! Or Cassandra. Or Yunseong.
KI 2 makes sense as a next gen announcement for Project Scarlet, not for a 2018 announcement.

Wait...it wasn't the Granblue fighter? Geez this is a bit much. I love fighters but theres just a bit too many too keep up with right now. I haven't even tried EX Fighting Layer, Blade Strangers, or SNK Heroines yet.

According to Hitagi, who is seemingly the first to leak the existence of a Granblue ASW game, Season 2 is coming but it's a ways off.

I wonder if that's still happening. I definitely expected to at least get an announcement of what franchise it is by now.
If it's Persona 5 Arena, I'm surprised that Arc System Works has the time to make another Persona Arena game with all the other fighting games on their plate.
