I'm all over the forum every day.

I don't understand why most of that Spider-Man thread is about another movie. Everybody's gotta be ahead of shit that hasn't happened yet for some reason.
I thought it was implied but I meant interacting with people about the MCU outside of this thread.

who's ready for the "looks like generic MCU shit compared to spider-verse" in every FFH thread from now until forever

Is the Shield logo on the stealth suit edited out in this trailer too? Or was it really never there to begin with?

I often wonder why they renewed Agents of SHIELD for S7 so early. It has to be for some reason having to do with their importance in Endgame. And blacking out the logo on the stealth suit just feeds into my conspiracies.

Hey so I'm finally gonna take the time to watch Punisher and Daredevil S3. Are there any other recent Marvel shows worth checking out? Like Cloak and Dagger? Runaways?

Not sure how I feel about the tv shows. Seems like a good opportunity to bring some characters that are not likely to be in movies, rather than ones we are already famiiiar with

All of the Netflix shows are various levels of watchable. Jessica Jones is still the best of them if you ask me (though I haven't seen DDS3 yet).

Cloak and Dagger is great, Agents of SHIELD is great. Runaways is... uhh... well, I like Runaways...

Agents of SHIELD is fantastic but quite an undertaking since it's already 5 seasons in. Can't recommend it highly enough, though, if you have the time to catch up. Season 1 is a bit rough but it really takes off in the back half.

I also agree with others in that Cloak & Dagger is excellent. It's got a very unique feel and the casting was spot-on. They set themselves up real nice for season 2.

I watched Runaways Season 1 - it was okay. Nothing to write home about. Have yet to get around to Season 2. Not super excited about it.

Special recognition for Agent Carter. Only survived 2 seasons but I thought it was great. YMMV though depending on whether you care about Peggy Carter and the more light-hearted feel of the show.

I'm glad Gemma Chan went out to say that she'll have several moments in Captain Marvel to define her take on Minn-Erva. Cant wait to see her relationship with Carol Danvers, their rivalry and Minn-Erva's jealousy of Carol having basically taken her role on the Starforce team as the commander's favorite.

"I suppose before Carol joined the team, Minn-Erva was probably kinda of the star of this Starforce team, and she was probably the favorite of the commander who is played by Jude Law. So yeah, there's more to do with their abilities rather than affections as such. But yeah, I think there's a mutual respect, but yeah, someone else who's also very good at their job. It's kind of playful rivalry."

I also hope that the six Starforce members will have distinctive skills and abilities. Like, all Jude Law have been saying is, that Yon-Rogg (or whoever he turns out to be) is the commander, that Korath is second in command, that Bron-Char is a big dude, that Minn-Erva is a sniper and long-range specialist, and that Att-Lass likewise is a weapons expert. Nothing concrete, really. Maybe Bron-Char is a brute and powerful in combat, maybe Korath is good with directions and Att-Lass could be good with a specific weapon, although Jude Law described him as another sniper.

I also wonder if we are gonna get to see some bad shape-shifting. You know, since it takes practice. Talos is leading the invasion on Earth cause of how good he is at it, so I can imagine we'll see some lesser skilled Skrulls.

Thanks for the tips. I was too busy to keep watching AoS around season 3 but I'm glad it's still good. And I'm about 8 episodes from finishing Agent Carter already. I'll check out Cloak and Dagger after I finish Daredevil.

Cloak and Dagger is definitely the one to watch. Also, if you tuned out on S3 on AoS then hurry back on the saddle cause S4 is the best season of any Marvel show. I thought Agent Carter was a slog during S1 but was better paced and more fun during the sophomore season. Peggy Carter and Edwin Jarvis is such a strong and charming pair of leads.

I really hope Gemma Chan isn't as distractingly beautiful in this as she was in CRA, made it really hard to focus on dialogue when she was in any scene lol

Really the Kree in general are the part of Captain Marvel I'm most interested in - we've never really gotten a look at their society, just Ronan and the punks slumming it on Agents of SHIELD. I know it's starting to look more Earth-centric than we expected, but if the Kree get as much focus at the Nova Corps did in GOTG, I'll still walk away satisfied.

I was actually hoping it would be much more Skrulls focused. But it seems like all we are getting is Talos and a bunch of baddies. And some posters on Hala talking shit about them.
